wow this Antillon guy is a good prospect with good resume at Lightweight while Bobby Pacquiao is a late bloomer journeyman [no offense]

I was surprised that the odds were so close when they first came out on some online sportsbooks this morning. Antillon was only a slight favorite and the under was in the low +100s. Antillon definitely has power, but his skills aren't anything special and he struggled greatly with Trejo. That fight was a great learning experience though and he's improved since then. Bobby Pacquiao could give Antillon another Trejo-like fight if he makes it into the later rounds, but I doubt he will. His chin is weak and Antillon is bound to catch him in the first half of the fight. I say Antillon by TKO before 6 rounds.. Bobby Pac won't be able to handle a puncher like Antillon, especially at his new weight class of 135.

This is a very good matchup though and should be another exciting VS undercard with a snoozefest Tye Fields main event. Who the hell is entertained by Fields?

 

Bobby will always live in Mannys shadow. Quite sad infact.

 

I agree with the hukiman. This could be a good slugfest. How many times we underestimate Bobpac??? The Kelly,The Famoso & Navarro fight???? He even wobbled Soto.

Remember this is the year of Big Upsets. Quintana, Campbell, the guy who beat Mashaba, this could be next. Bobpac has The Pacman genes, just one of those genes acting could be enough to create a Big upset.

Bobpac also is very quite for this fight. No news whatsoever. it's like the roach team, who has inside knowledge of Antillon(he used to spar with Pac, legends said Penalosa schools him in Sparring) is planning an ambush.

I expect a late round stoppage. About the 9th or 10th. Should be exciting while it lasts.

I read somewhere the net, that Penalosa Spars with Antillon at the wildcard gym & he schools him.

 

Mares-Gabi could be a good one too. Gabi is smaller but he's the bigger puncher & has more experience. Mares will be tested here. Gabi spars with Katsidis & reports said he's hanging with him. Maybe another upset.
