interesting point you make there, and I never really pointed that out becuase well I was too focused on the idea of him being guilty but this is something that people should take notice of becuase they did make him rewrap a couple of times, so that means Margarito must have re attempted to put Plaster of Paris in the wraps each time all while Richardson was there and the commission of which both were aware of the "plaster of paris" prior to the re wraps....

Knuckle pads are not illegal every single fighter that has hand problems and the majority that dont have hand problems form a pad out of the gauze sorry but its the truth you can ***** and moan about it all you want but it is the truth.

    Great post.

The professional lab specifically stated " Traces of calcium and sulfer"

You would think a professional lab would be able too distinguish between Plaster of Paris, and trace elements, not even close to being the final chemical makeup of Plaster of Paris.
And accordingly tell the public the truth.

This is not what they have done.
Instead they have left doubt in the public's minds and have conditioned the public too believe that Margarito had plaster of paris in his hand wraps while offering little proof other than trace elements of common substances.

If I were Margafrito and company, I to would appeal this.

With exception to the haters/lynch mobs, the public would like the truth of the matter one way or the other.
Now that both sides have **** in the bed...........they should be the ones to sleep in it...........not the public.

Was it Plaster of Paris...........OR NOT?

Obviously the Lab did everything they could do in order to prove Margarito did in fact use Plaster of Paris..............and the best they could come up with is " Trace elements"

I feel strongly that a good attorney presenting this argument, based on the commissions accusations and rhetoric, may have a good chance of overturning the suspension.

On the flip side the commission will not want egg on its face.........so no matter what is presented, may not overturn anything unless forced by a court of law which could well take longer than the suspension's time frame.

Margarito could do his time.........come back after his suspension is over........never throw a punch in professional boxing again...........and still make mega millions through a lawsuit contending that the commission destroyed his career.

    Man wouldn't that be something.

Whats crazy about all of this is that I honestly Hung Margarito out to dry when they released this information, but my wife who is a Dr, not an MD but she is a very educated person, stated that those two elements can be found in just about everything, she quickley pointed out look into anti itch creams or even baking soda or powder.

I didnt accept that I thought she was just standing by the mexican fighter like the little warrior she is, but nah she was real with it and when I told her about this **** on friday when Freddy broke the news she said I told you, but nah your just too quick to lable someone as a cheat.:-(

They found the stuff on gauze though. Check new/clean just bought out of the store gauze before you apply it to anything, and see if it contains any traces of the ingredients of plaster. There are none on it, so what was it doing on AM's gauze/wraps? Boxers don't put hand cream on hands, and then wrap their hands so that excuses is out also.

They won't be able to defend why this stuff was on the gauze. It is rare the commissions reverse their findings. They do, but it is so rare.

You obviously havent been in the gym, yes fighters do not all but alot of them do put on Anti Itch Cream for the same reason some of you use tinactin in your sneakers its to prevent getting some funky ****, a boxing glove is no different than a sneaker, the only difference is that your dirrect skin makes contact with the inside of the glove meaning your skin is exposed to catching some funky ****.

Fact of the matter is they found a HARD substance inside his wraps... how difficult can it be to understand that that's illegal?

You don't even have a clue what I'm talking about let alone what your own point is. We are talking about before a fight...not training. No fighters uses hand cream before his hands are wrapped...it is not allowed, not even for medical reasons. The hands are washed and dried before a professional wrapping lol.

This is true and should not be over looked, if his gauze were hard becuase they were old that is what that means, but they did convict the man of using plaster of paris meaning if they did that based on these two findings Margarito can appeal and should do so beucase those two elements are found in other things.

if he really didnt use plaster paris and had just used old gauze that were firm and stiff as reported then why should he be labled with that? plaster of paris is no joke, if it turns out he used nothing more than old gauze, people would change their thoughts on him, sure old gauze is not with in the rules but its sure as **** a long ways away from having plaster of paris.

and that is the point all together.
