i remember when everybody accused me of photoshopping ****..mainly, cause it dont look like nothing more than a knuckle pad.....and if it was laced in plaster, i think it would look more creamy, in this case you can still see the little tiny square holes....

I think you missed the part where he said he believes it is margos job as a professional to make sure all the rules are being followed....despite whether or not the pad looked similar..he should and is being held accountable. As far as plaster goes, like I said before, no one knows for certain yet, if they were, it would be a lifetime ban not a 1 year ban.

Again, Freddy, Im not arguing about plaster, that point cannot be proven by anyone here one way or another yet. People can speculate, assume etc etc but it doesnt matter. The facts right now are that a pre made knucklepad..which isnt legal, as you even stated before, was put into the wraps. This alone is what the 1 year ban is for. There is also possible intent to cheat which can or cant be proven at this point. Plaster is not what he is being banned for. So if you agree that something illegal was done, which you did, what is there to fight? Margarito is responsible for his team not following the rules of the wrapping process and not making sure they were followed. There is no way to prove whether he did or didnt know, so he has to be held just as responsible= 1 year ban...i dont see where there is anything left to fight unless they change the ban to a lifetime ban.

Again, not the point...lets argue facts...lets completely forget interviews with Shane, Nazim etc etc and just focus on what we know for sure...which is pre made knuckle pads were used , which is illegal, and traces of elements of plaster were found on them. Even despite the possible elements of plaster report, if it was never found...the illegally pre made knuckle pads = 1 year ban. Again, nothing to fight.

Ha...at which post did you kick anyones ass? All youve said so far is that you agree with me that something illegal was done...then you stated, not sayinf that they are innocent...then you said margo shouldnt be held accountable because Floyd wasnt when roger jumped into the ring...and youve posted interviews with shane and a picture of the illegally pre made knuckle pads...your argument is flimsy at best.

    Source:http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2009/01/officials-found.html

Officials found what one doctor described as plaster of Paris hidden in the wrapped hands of Antonio Margarito (above left at the weigh-in Friday) shortly before the welterweight champion's title defense against Shane Mosley (above right) on Saturday at the Staples Center, leading to accusations that Margarito may have been trying to cheat.
According to Judd Burstein, the attorney for Mosley, Margarito had wet pads in the wrapping. Mosley's doctor, Robert Olvera, likened the material to the type of plaster used to make casts.
"It gets hard and mobile," said Olvera, who said he scratched the pad and "flakes of plaster of Paris" came off.
Burstein said he seized the pad removed from the wrapping and another pad found in Margarito's dressing room. Both were placed in a sealed box that was given to Dean Lohuis of the California Boxing Commission for further study.
Burstein said representatives of both boxers "discussed this exact issue" at Friday's rules meeting "and they went ahead and violated it."
After the suspicious pads were removed from Margarito's dressing room, the boxer's hands were rewrapped and the fight went off on time. Because the violation was caught before Margarito stepped into the ring, Margarito's camp will likely be subject to little more than a disciplinary action if the substance is found to be illegal.
Nazzim Richardson, the trainer for Mosley, was the first to notice something unusual about Margarito's wrap job and asked officials to take the tape off. That's when the foreign substance was discovered, seized and placed in a box for investigation after the bout.
"That's a serious offense," an official with Golden Boy, Mosley's promoter, said. "That's cheating."
Mosley was informed of the discovery before the fight, Burstein said. According to the lawyer, Mosley said he took that as evidence that Margarito "was scared" going into the bout.
Todd duBoef, president of Top Rank, Margarito's promoter, shrugged and said he was told only that "additional gauze" had been taken off his fighter's hand wraps.

You know how you can tell when youve won an argument? When the other person stops debating facts, and starts posting interviews and pictures...its basically admitting you are wrong. You lose Freddy, sorry.

So you arent changing your tune about what? Youve agreed the pads were illegal...youre only argument is that Margarito shouldnt be suspended because he didnt wrap it and claimed he didnt know.. that is ****ing WEAK! It definitely shows a lack of respect for boxing, a lack of common sense and a total case of nut huggery. So much for looking out for the best interest of fighters and trying to save the face of boxing. Turns out you are just a fan of Margarito, nothing more, nothing less.
