I've got the story!

Margo and his trainer decide to make sure they had their special wrapping technique down so they did some wraps.(This is at Margos house) Prior to that though, Margo had used some hand cream, fungal cream and baby powder, but they put the wraps on anyway. After some light work on a punching bag in his garage. Margo goes inside to his wife who is having tea in the kitchen, jokingly he says, you see these wraps!?! Im going to place them here, do not touch them!..

He takes them off and sets them down and walks off. His wife decides to move the wraps to a better location but in doing so spills tea on the wraps! She hears Margo coming down the hall, in her effort to hide them, she then searches for a spot to put the tea soaked wraps and accidentally drops them in some cake batter that had some fresh baking powder put in them. Margo comes in and ask where the wraps are and she tells him, I put them in your bag for safe keeping! He smiles and says thank you and leaves.

Later that day she tries to bury the wraps in a herb root garden, as she is digging she can't seem to find just pure dirt so she decides to just bury the wraps mixed with all the roots. In the morning, she lets their dog out and comes back to let him in and notices he dug up the wraps! So in a last ditch effort, she rushes to Margos bag and puts them underneath all of his gear, hoping they wouldn't find them until after the fight.


Thus that is how margos wraps got the sulfur and calcium on them.

Conflicting reports. Margo did not use the baby powder on himself. Reports are that he came in and before he talked to his wife she asked him to change the baby diaper and she did it with his wraps on and he decided to baby powder his baby while changing the diaper.

Im stepping in to pinch hit for him. Ya ready? Cool, here goes...A hearing is not a court of law. He stated he accidentally grabbed the wrong pre made pad this in itself would warrant an immediate one year ban due to the fact that pre made pads are not legal no matter what substance is on it. However, what was on the pad was still to be determined. At the time, a temporary ban was given until the tests could be conducted and concluded. Reason a temporary ban was given even though Capetillo admitted putting a pre made pad in the wraps? Because they needed to determine the substance on the wraps to decide the punishment, 1 year, 5 years, life? They cannot ban him for ayear then after the results change the ban to a lifetime,,,otherwise people, like the argument you made about "double jeopardy" (which was way off anyway) would see it as him being banned twice. So again, THEY GAVE THEM TEMPORARY BANS UNTIL ALL THE TESTS AND EVIDENCE HAD BEEN CONCLUDED. Since they found trace elements and im assuming not actual plaster, a 1 year is all that could be given, and rightly justified. They never wear, nor have been nor ever will be suspended twice.

Now to answer your question of how can there be an appeal after an admission of guilt? capetillo isnt attempting to appeal, Margo, who showed balls of steel by letting his trainer take the blame, sat quietly as his lawyers advised him to do, hence HE, MARGO is appealing. Will his appeal be approved and his license be reinstated by making the claim that "he didnt know"...**** no it wont be. Since the ban was not for plaster, but for the illegal wraps and traces found (which indicates a possible intent to cheat) and because it was done right in front of Marrgos face, it will be properly denied. Unless of course Arum throws some money around or Freddie Roach decides to be Arums ***** and "puts a good word in" or takes responsiblity for Margo, then maybe he might be shown some leniency. However, if this happens, and all you nuthuggers and whiny lil bitches get to high five each other and smack each other on the ass, all it will do is show that a guy who allowed his trainer to put illegal knuckle pads into his wraps and let him take the fall for it got away with it.
