The fight would be as one sided as the fight they had in the welterweight range.

Hard to pick against Floyd, but if you base what you think JMM could do off of what Castillo did then you'd be an idiot to count JMM out of this fight.

Me too Castillo was a beast back in the day at 135lb. He is a very smart boxer much like Marquez except he got great punching power. Even to this day he is still scoring Kos and he is shot to hell.

This is probably about right. Marquez is my all time favourite fighter but I'm honest enough to admit he would probably always struggle with Floyd. Styles make fights and although Marquez would probably have a better shot than he did at 147 the fact remains Marquez is a natural counterpuncher who would have to turn aggressive against a defensive master. He would have more success at the weight plus he would obviously be younger which would help his speed and reflexes but my money would be on Floyd by close(ish) UD.

I still say JMM has a big chance beating Floyd at 130lbs but if you would look at 126lbs version of JMM vs 126 lbs version of Floyd. JMM schools floyd at 126lbs! LoL!

How can he school him when PBF can beat JMM at his own game?:deal PBF beats any version of JMM he's a stylistic nightmare for him.

And you're underrating him. PBF at 130 is arguably the GOAT he had too much size speed lateral movement defense ring IQ power reflexes for people to deal with.

This would be a really close fight. I would say something like 7-5 PBF.

To say he stops JMM is just as idiotic as saying JMM stops PBF.

Dont kid yourself guys. PBF was probably 160 in the JMM fight. The weight made a huge difference in that one. They are equally as skilled but the size might prove to much at the end even at 130 for JMM.

Floyd was 150 lbs against Ortiz yet you think he was 160 against Marquez?

Floyd was 149 lbs 30 days before the fight going by the WBC 30 day weigh in.

Yes. Look at the size of PBF compared to JMM who himself was only 147 on fight night.
He is shorter, thinner legs, thinner arms, thinner upper body. Do you honestly think PBF was only 3 pounds heavier than JMM that night? There is a reason they didnt do fight day weigh ins. JMM said it himself. PBF had too many pounds on him so he wasnt able to hurt him with his punches.

If PBF was so close to weight 30 days from the fight why did he not make the 144 catchweight and come in at 147 then?

The guy is a great H2H fighter man and I would pick him over pretty much anyone in the history of 130 that's why I call him the GOAT there. Kinda like RJJ at 168. Who beats him there?

He would beat JMM going away he beats JMM at his own game JMM can't outbox PBF he can't. It would always be easy work for PBF when fighting JMM. I'm not knocking JMM he's one of my favorites and I love watching him fight but PBF is a horrible match up for him.
