Not intending to hate on Mike at all, but 5 of his 6 losses came by KO. I'm not sure that's a "great chin", although I'm not trying to say he's glass jawed or anything, but it's hard to say that it's spectacular.
But look at how he was stopped. He took sustained beatings from Douglas, Lewis and Holyfield to be stopped, it's not like he took a few flush shot and just fell apart. The shots he took from Lewis alone were astonishing and he could have still gotten up if he had wanted to. While his chin may not be as good as McCalls, Ali's or Holyfields it was damn good.
