Pascal is quite the underdog is this one. I can see it going the distance with him just not letting go

So am I, I personally thought that Pascal beat Gonzalez and was confused with the HBO score cards as I had it the same as the three judges.

Pascal has lost to Kovalev twice and his awkwardness actually was effective at points in fight one. and I think Kovalevs win vs Pascal is one of the best wins by anyone in the top 5 at 175.
Pascal lost to Hopkins when Hopkins could still go.
Lost to froch in a great effort. Lost to Alvarez and had his moments.

Pascal is great at making rounds boring almost dead then he goes full out nuts late in the round and lands punches. (he even won 2 rounds on all 3 judges vs Kovalev using this in fight 1)

Unless this kid has good defence I think Pascal has this but I could be wrong haven't seen odds on it yet.

I thought you said I had bad scorecards? I agree with you, I picked Gonzalez for the upset, and still scored it for Pascal 6-4.

And I agree with the rest of your post as well.

This could turn into a disaster on friday night. Everything is stack to make sure Pascal’s opponent make a name on him.

First, his promoter Tom Brown, who is working for Haymon and probably doesn’t give the proper respect to Pascal. He basically said to him that there was not hotel rooms available for him and his team on monday (probably a huge lie). Because of that, his promoter booked him a flight on wednesday morning at 6 am, which means he had to woke up at 2 am this morning. The flight got delayed and he took the 11am flight. At 3pm, he was at Philadelphia waiting for his flight for Miami. From what he said at 3pm, because of that, he doesn’t even know himself if he will be able to make the weight limit. Plus, from what I understood, taking a flight during the dehydratation part is not the best idea because of water retention. These conditions make no sense. Not for a world class fighter like Pascal. And all this for 25k...

With the money he made during his career, he should have book his flight and hotel by himself in my opinion. He fell into the trap made by that unprofessionnal promoter Tom Brown, which is a Haymon puppet. With all this happening, Pascal should have told Brown and Haymon to **** off TBH.

He's not fighting for 25K.

Thats his contract in QC, but there's another one in NV. A lot of boxers do that. Adonis too, and others, remember Cleverly's purse vs Badou ? Same thing, multiple fight contracts.

And Pascal made weight.
He wont retire if he beats this guy, but lets just say he doesnt get any guarantee from Canadian PPV, so....you know he had to sell it somehow lol

If you dont know, us Canadians, get every fight on PPV lol, tonight's fight costing only 39.99 lol....so dont be surprised why boxing is only big in La Belle Province, and pretty much dead in the rest of the Great White North

Honestly I think its better he'd retire in a hometown fight anyway, uncle Al could give him at least that.

Personally I think it's PR in the sense of getting people interested in the fight, but I believe he really will retire after. No way I see him fight Beterbiev or Gvozdyk. And I'm sure he would lose to Barrera and Bivol. A Joe Smith Jr fight would've been fun though.

essy to say right now than it was before the fight. The circumstances were awful.

But tell me about that NV contract! I wasn’t aware of that!!!
