Audience reactions to the Mayweather/Ortiz fight

    For those of you who saw the fight in a movie theater, what kind of reactions were there from the headbutt, the ending, and then the interview with Merchant?

    At the theater I saw it at, the crowd seemed very pissed off by Ortiz' headbutt then actually stood up/clapped/cheered when Mayweather took the shot when he wasn't looking and when Ortiz was counted out it was a sense of shock ( a bunch of people shouted "OH MY GOD!! I CAN"T BELIEVE IT!". But nothing like when Merchant said " I wish I was 50 years younger and I'd kick your ass", the crowd was laughing uncontrollably and clapping. I would say it was a pro Mayweather crowd.

    I would love to go to the theater to watch a live fight, that would be a great new experience. If it will affect your sexuality, as you stated, then stay away.

    A bunch of broke ass wanna be ballas go to the movie theaters to watch the fight... its much cheaper:thumbsup

    Most of the people in the crowd cheered when Floyd knocked down Ortiz.


    It was hype


    About 25% started hating on Floyd for doing it. But they were shouted down by everyone else.

    It was on the IMAX GIANT screen, why wouldn't I take advantage of that? The sound quality and picture quality can't be matched. Not to mention, I was going to watch the fights by myself, why would I pay 70 when I can see it for 18? I don't feel like watching a fight on a laptop, that sucks. I don't care if its free.

    I spent about 100 or so to see it. 40 for gas, and paid for my bro and my girl. Plus concessions and ****.

    Well worth it. Great experience. Cant wait to go see another fight at the theater.

    cause we ain't all broke ass teenagers living at home with moms like your ****** ass.

    some of us have disosable income and choose to use some of it for entertainment such as watching fights at a movie theatre or buyign the PPV so we don't have to watch a pixilated buffering stream on a tiny screen. dumb little kid :patsch

    40 in Gas STFU already... Fightnews reported this fight to be in theaters in LV and LA didnt say **** about Mich or else where

    People were disgusted and upset. Some about the fight ending in a weird way others by what they thought was a cheap shot

    I watched the fight in my home which I have a mortgage on, on my 50 inch HD...
    But hey I guess some of us do have disosable? what the **** does that mean?

    Umm the fight was showing in theaters all over the USA buddy. :patsch


    I saw the fight in Fort Collins Colorado.
