[AUDIO] WBC Will Start Same Day Weigh-Ins Starting July 1st

    Jn43 is right, its an additional weigh in like the 30 days before only on the morning of the fight where they can weigh more already but limited and then can continue gaining till the night, hmm doesnt seem that different on second thought.

    Nah, they'll just "forget" to enforce this rule for him, much like they've already forgotten about post-fight drug tests and 30-day weigh-ins for him.

    As long as we don't see a bunch of guys unable to make weight causing a plethora of last minute logistical problems, I will like this move.

    This will undoubtedly force certain fighters to move up to divisions that are closer to their natural weight.

    A 220lb limit for Cruiserweight is ******ed, it would only encourage more guys to get fat, to compete at Heavyweight for more money.

    This is basically a new rule that allows shitty fighter like Chavez Jr not have to drain himself to make the lower weights so he has a chance not to get KTFO by a decent fighter is his real weight class.
