Audley auctions PrizeFighter trophy for Sprotts sister

Michael Sprott, the former British boxing champion, has paid tribute to his “lovely” sister Ginette following her tragic death on Tuesday, 8th September 2009..

Her parents and sisters have spoken of their devastation at losing someone close in the prime of her life. Ginette had been suffering from post natal depression for nearly two years, following the birth of her second daughter Tia in November 2007. In addition to Tia, she leaves behind 8 year old Genevieve and fiancé and partner of twenty years John Potter.
Michael Sprott was was due to participate in the hotly contested Prizefighter match at London’s ExCeL Arena on Friday 2nd of October 2009. He withdrew following the tragic death of his sister Ginette. The hotly contested match was won by Audley Harrison who is hoping to increase awareness of the dangers of post natal depression by auctioning off the winning trophy.
As a long term supporter of Audley Harrison Sweatband.com is hosting this auction. All the proceeds of this auction will be donated to the Sprott family. In addition Sweatband.com will be donating up to £1000 in cash. For each of the first 50 bids received we will be donating £20 per bid placed.
This winning trophy represents a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of UK boxing history. The highest amount received by the close of the auction will be declared the winning bid.
