I'm not saying he wasn't hurt, but he was looking for a place/time to fall down in my opinion. It looked to me like he contributed to the "knockdown", similar to taking a knee except he tried to make it look genuine. Its sad we didn't get to see him throw a punch or knocked out properly.
It was a fix. The more I think about it Audley had no intention to fight back. He practically laid himself down at the first exchange (if we can call it that.)
Maybe Haye's camp thought that there is always that possibility, no matter how slim, that Audley could KO Haye. If it was fixed, they could have avoided that possibility. I don't think it was fixed (he even looked like he was gonna tear up at the end) but I can't figure out how Audley could have been so scared that he barely threw any punches at all! Especially in a title fight where he should have put his all on the line. Seems kinda fishy to me.
What people don't seem to understand, Audley has never been a good fighter. He's always been scared and cautious. How the hell did you expect a guy like that to turn on some kind of warrior spirit. Hes got the physical attributes but not the fighters heart.
If this fight was fixed Audley would have made the fight competitive for the first two rounds in order to quash suspicion. Audley was just being same old Audley, all the tools, no heart.
atsch Dominating performance by Haye and K2 fans can’t handle it. When Haye knocks Wlad out next year, this board will be full of poison and vaselin conspiracies
It was really weird, Harrison looked as though he was only waiting for a stronger Haye's punch to fall.
You started the rumours you dick. Have you ever actually seen Audley fight? What fights have you seen? If you've ever seen Harrison fight before then this is exactly what you'd expect. He talks the talk, makes the promises and then gets in the ring and completely freezes. He becomes terrified once he's in the ring, scared to punch, scared to get hit. He's done the same thing against fat Irish taxi drivers, against no-name bums - what do you think he was going to do against a heavyweight with world class speed and power? A heavyweight that has already given him a bit of a beating in sparring sessions? Haye knew he coud finish him whenever he wanted. Joke of a fight but not a fix. Only a moron would think that this needed fixing. It's Audley Harrison for **** sake.
