What i am abit bother about though is: Audley Harrison's training since he came back from Big Bear.

I sense Audley Harrison is very relaxed, but sometimes being to relaxed can be a bad thing. Its clearly evident that anybody viewing this build up can see that David Haye is more bothered, and worried in the build up.

David Haye: Is a Winner, and winners don't fail to prepare.

I did'nt like it when Audley Harrison said "The Audley Harrison that turned up to face Danny Williams would destroy David Haye..........and then he mentioned some other fella"

I don't like that kind of talk, but it is good that he's confident.

But in a way, i want to hear abit of fear in Auldey Harrison's voice.

    "Abit of edge"

Valuev was not a dodgy decision. Haye won that fight easily. He won because he was the only one landing anything in that fight and Valuev was punching thin air. Valuev won maybe 2 rounds in the whole fight.

What I will say though is that Valuev is probably the worst p4p fighter I've ever seen. He is shockingly, shockingly...............let me say it again, SHOCKINGLY bad. He's horrendous, a horrible, horrible fighter.

He's slow, it looks like he's fighting in slow motion, his feet are like they are stuck in cement, he lacks power for his size (Probably a good thing because if he punched according to his weight, I don't know if the human skull could take it) his technique is poor, and the worst thing of all, he fails to use his physical advantages.

I thought he would try to lean on Haye, get that hairy, sweaty chest up in Hayes face, make it messy, but no, he was content to take baby steps around the ring, following Haye around like a drunk trying to swat a fly. Throwing his punches with no purpose. What was he doing? Trying to fight like Paulie Malignaggi? Why was he trying to box Haye when he can't box? Why didn't he try something different like go to the body, start taking huge swings just to get that one KO punch. Even when he was having zero success, he still continued with the same tactics, throwing half-hearted punches.

No offence to him, I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he can't box. Haye did what he had to do though, and I have no problem with the way he "ran" against Valuev. Whatever gets the job done. Yeah it was boring but you can't expect him to go toe to toe with Valuev. I was more dissapointed with Valuev making it so easy for Haye to use these tactics.

Haye against Ruiz was gassing out, huffing and puffing. His stamina is a big issue.

As for Harrison, well he will reveal his heart to the world on November the 13th. I think some people will realise what a fighter he is, and how much mental strength it takes to keep the belief he has, keep fighting even when the whole country is telling you to pack it in. Audley has been saying "Yes I can", and there have been a few people backing him saying "Yes he can", but these voices have been drowned out by the shouts of "no you can't, you clown, you fraud, you joke". This is Audleys chance, his big opportunity. I don't think people realise what this fight means for Audley Harrison. If Audley wins this, it will be such a powerful, emotional moment for him.

I think Haye will be around 225

    and yeah, Harrison around 245

I think Haye will be prepared for this fight. He might say it's gonna be easy for him, but I don't think he will mess about with his preperations.

I doubt there would have been an uproar if Valuev got the nod. Haye was on the backfoot all night and did not convincingly win rounds which the away fighter normally has to do against the champion.

That's one of the things I hate most about boxing. When the challenger or the away fighter is expected to fight in a certain style and do certain things that the other fighter is not expected to do to win rounds. I've always said, score the fight as it happens, and ignore everything else. It's unfair and damages careers, damages the sport and makes fighters want to stay at home all the time. The only advantage a home fighter should have is the crowd. There should be no advantage for being champion.

When a football team is playing at home, they don't start with a 1 goal advantage. The only advantage they have is the crowd on their side. Imagine if the home team's goals counted double. It would be ridiculous, and it's just as ridiculous in boxing. The fighter who lands more should win. Belts and location should never come into it. Just score the fight, nothing else.

Haye was on the backfoot, but he was the only one landing punches. No boxer should be rewarded for hitting thin air just because they throw more and are coming forward. That's not the object of the game. Just hit and not get hit, that's the only thing that matters and Haye won that game easily.

But you're right. Had Valuev got the nod, there wouldn't be any uproar. I was angry at the scorecards, even though the right man won. I thought the scoring was a disgrace, to be so close. You blatantly have to award rounds to Valuev for hitting thn air to have it as close as the judges did. I remember I made a thread on it because I was kind of angry, even though I was supporting Valuev. No matter how negative David's performace was, even if he was only landing 5 or 6 clean punches a round, Valuev was landing 0, or 1 or 2.

I agree, David Haye did beat Valuev.

I just was'nt impressed with how he did it. At first to be honest, when i saw the fight........

I did'nt think he was going to get the decision.

But when watching the fight the second time around, he was the only guy landing any punches.

"A small number of punches that is"

David Haye was in incredible shape for that fight, 217 pounds.

    For the Ruiz fight...

    David Haye was 222 pounds.

Haye was only 222 pounds for Ruiz? I didn't know that, I thought he was higher than that, which is why I said I think Haye will come in at around 225.

Yeh man, David Haye was 215pounds against Monte Barrett aswell.

I don't know what went on during his camp against Ruiz, but his faced looked puffy, and he had that bloated look like he was steriods.

"Not that i think he is, David Haye is a great athlete"

Even if Audley Harrison comes in at 244 pounds, he's still gonna have a big weight advantage.........BIG!
