To be fair, there are far better underdogs one could pick. Taking Audley was like backing a three legged horse. There was no REAL logic to subscribe to for him to overcome the odds. Just as anyone can pick a sure favourite anyone can back an underdog too, to try to seem prophetic.

If someone picks Maidana adamantly, its a bit different isn't it? There is some sense there, this was just all a bit silly.

 

Yeah i agree, but i like a bit of banter and randomness. I dunno if PK was for real...who knows but i enjoyed reading it. Sometimes i noticed people go along with opinions on the board recently. Sometimes i like to see out there picks for fights. not saying i'm the idiot that will do it...but it's nice to see someone lay there thoughts on line although....Audley was one hell of a pick to try persuade people..although worryingly..i think PK did gain believers in end .

Being "up for a fight" does not correct balance issues, the way you jab etc.

 

Audley is one of the most inherently flawed boxers I've ever seen: he's **** scared of throwing punches or getting hit, unless his opponent is gassed.

**** fighter, a complete over achiever, I'd personally like him to defend his European title and get knocked out again before retiring.

Hayes performance and betting admission afterward was terrible too. He couldve ended the fight within the first ten seconds, which wouldve been more value for money than that shite.

How lucky then that we got to see an ATG batter a much more useful fighter for free afterwards :yep
