i read in the mirror that audley - danny is a likley heavywieght matchup :patsch as much as it is the only fight in the domestic heavies scene that makes sense matching up. it seems bizaar to actually have another one. in the first one audley was running and had problems in the 2nd boom danny has problems and is coming into the ring like a journeyman.

to be honest all the domestic heavies are rather good but they are just so hard to match right...

skelton-brawler hieght ,wieght and gritzy styled fighter but now becuase of his new found boxing skills he has now gone bonkers and is trying to look like sugar ray clay jones jr. and is quite impressed to outbox than fight.

sprott- decent skills not much talent but has some punch and some speed and the abilty to be a tough nut to crack...rather agile i feel and more bouncy than all the others and has more handspeed than any of the others. he outboxed wladamir virchis ,danny williams and has caused some upsets in his time. but for some reason he comes in some times really really determined and ready to fight but some times he seems to come in like a journeyman which he is just about above. against skelton II:tired :yikes :| :dead

harrison- big man great jab ,alright defence, athletisicm and a good counterpuncher. olympic superheavy medalist...tours america and uk gaining support then...boom loses to danny williams and everything just crumbles fights guinn who isnt the best heavy and now audley is fighting with the hieghest guard i have ever seen. he then fought some nobodies but was gettin gback into it gets a big win against willaims rematch with a great showing of what we thought he could do....then absolutly ktfo by a small and at the time placid sprott. andf is now chin protective.

williams - the only one who has prospective about him very good power nice solid jab decent chin tough guy takes alot of punishment and will still fight and punch to search for a victory/ but his wieght is unbeielvable against skelton II what on earth he must of eaten the oxygen tanks he was supposly beeing inhaling. this is a small heavy around 220 6'1 and he is pushing 260 270 to

Thought Danny wasn't going to offer him a lifeline.

The Williams who showed up for Williams KO's Audley.

This has got 'fight of the year' written all over it! This will be PPV though, I guarantee. I dare the say the bidding war has all ready begun, I hope the TV stations have got deep pockets.

It's fights like these that remind me why I got into boxing in the first place! Two legends in a twelve round war of attrition for the greatest prize in sport.

The BBC are probably grateful to Frank Warren for matching Audley up with Sprott.:D

I'm going to subscribe to Setanta to see it. Even if it's not on Setanta I shall subscribe anyway, that's how bad I want to see this one.

    Now, where's my medicine?

The heavyweight division would be better if Gary Mason and Frank Bruno came back. They could have a special "eyepatch" match.

this reminds me of the benn v eubank era. i just hope the young 'uns of today appreciate what an exciting match up this is.

anyone know when either of these are gonna get sent into retirement once and for all by either big mac or haye?

thats one audrey fight i would switch channels to watch..but thats as far as my support would go. even then it would only be to see haye spread him across the canvass like margerine!

I'd rather see Harrison vs Skelton.

Williams v Harrison III. Are we ready for it? This reminds me of the Lewis v Holyfield fights, true milestones in sporting history. My mind is racing imagining what might happen. The winner could lay claim to improving his ranking in the British heavyweight round robin. Maybe a shootout with Skelton? Or perhaps Sprott.

What about the loser? He may find himself slipping down the rankings a bit. Maybe a shootout with Skelton, or perhaps Sprott in order to redeem themselves.

    I'm sick of this ****.

:rofl exactly every man is at the same level and when one loses they are still big enough draws to fight to get w in...then they lose and then again and again.

but to be honest apart from haye (who is staying well clear of the domestic scene) who is there to fight gammer?...oh no beaten by a vetran then lost to a nobody.
does anyone have a british heavywieght prospect they can think of.

Roman Greenburg is the hottest prospect in boxing at the moment. He's just tearing up the whole division.
