Fight him on a Klit undercard, do a job and a fight with one of the Klits could be viable.

 

Audley will land a significant Alphabet title shot without facing anyone of signicance from that list. Haye's only got one real option at the moment and its Audely.

He'll sit tight and hope Haye picks him to fight next. He's not good enough to earn his shot.

I always hate it when people go "he never would've lasted a round with 'Earless' Fred Johnson back in the day" and similar, but being blunt here, Austin would've been eaten alive in the 90s heavyweight scene.

Honestly for me to have genuine faith in him at world class level he would need to beat Guinn and Rogan. Then he could stop a legit fighter like Adamek, Peter or Arreola and then he could get a title shot.

Anyone giving him a title shot now would further the fact that boxing is a complete mess.

IF fighters were fighting like Joe Louis or Muhammad Ali then having the odd lower level fight is completely fine. It is then their right to maximise earnings, build their profile etc If they are going to fight once or twice a year with us paying for their standard of life then they can go **** themselves by fighting these bums.

As always the power rests with the people and we should not tolerate such low standards in competition, title defences, path to the top, path to a world title etc
