I kept on telling everyone, Olympic Gold Medal's don't get given away. Olympic Gold medals, don't get given away. I can fight, and i have a heart. This is a testament to anybody who has been told time and time again, you cannot achieve anything, that you do not process the ability. And i am not talking about boxing or sport, i am talking about anything in life, all the people out there who want to achieve a dream..any dream against the odds. I could of walked away from the sport when my Heavyweight Championship dream was derailed, but i didn't. Because real men don't walk away, real men come back. And i walked that walked of reality, and along the way i had many critics, many haters, but you know what..? Thank You. You gave me my strength, Martin Luther King had haters, Malcolm X had haters, Jesus Christ had haters, but that's what drove them on, i have faith in the lord and people. And i know people can change, they just need to be shown the way.....i changed i faced my demons. And i hope i have inspired someone out there, inspired someone to follow their dream. Because in this world, we may only live once, this is no dress rehearsal. I made a promise to the people in 2000, that promise has now come true. Starts Crying now... People sometimes think us athlete's us warrior's don't have feelings, don't have emotions. But we do, because remember we are only human. And i have cried many time's in private, and i thought about taking my own life..... But then i looked around the world, i burnt the papers and stopped reading the negative media. And i saw inspiration, i saw change. There are people in this world who are not given a chance, or very few chance's. Weather that's to go to school, weather that's just to survive and make it through the day and eat. Some people are born disabled, and have to fight just to achieved he things we take for granted in life, some people are terminally ill and fight just to survive afew more months to see there loved one's for a extra few months of their life. And that's when i thought no..no..! I am not going to stop fighting now, and i thought about my dead brother..I love you..and i thought No. I am a proud man, and i stand up..! and believe. Yes i can...Yes we can people.. I did it..
I like that Mr Kool.:good Sounds exactly like something that Audley would say. I have got to back Rogan in his fight with Audley (fellow Belfast man), but if Audley does come through, and shows some heart in doing so, I would love to see him get a tilt at a world title; love to see him prove the doubters, of which I have been one for so long a time, wrong.
I rekon Audley Harrison is a sensitive guy. Audley Harrison need's pull a performance off, like he did against Danny Williams II. He was a bad man, that night. No question..
