When he knocked out Danny Williams I started to actually believe...but that was short lived when he got beat by Sprott and a Taxi driver.
This kind of reaction..to a topic..! Makes me want Audley Harrison to achieve his ambition, and become World Heavyweight Champion. I wonder what the odds are for that..? Audley Harrison just has sh*t stamina/enudrance, he needs to take some drugs. Some EPO or something.. Stamina is that ****.
I can't see him having a chance Vs. Klitschkos, or Boytsov, or Povetkin Or..........................?????????????????
The guy couldn't win a game of connect 4 on his best day. But I do love how determined/deluded he is.
Agreed, I do think that win is a good one and I thought "Maybe the big lump has finally got his head on straight." But then the Sprott fight and, after a hot start, just weirdly going into his shell then getting punched out by that hayemaker. Now, we've all heard the talk too much to believe in it. Only a convincing win against a notable fighter will turn that around.
i can't stand him of course, but he's soooo funny that part of me wants to see him win prizefighter just so his career continues a bit longer and we get some more entertaining quotes! on a more serious note, even he surely knows that he'll never be a world champion but there's no reason why he can't at least pick up the british or commonwealth titles if he strings a few wins together
Actually IMO his talking himself way way up has translated into his fear of losing and ultra defensive mindset. If he had just been saying he was going to do his best in each upcoming fight he would have taken a lot of pressure of himself. Hate to say this - but he's not altogether different than David Haye in this regard. If Haye does lose his next couple of fights he's going to be put in the same category as Harrison.
I'd actually like to see Audley Harrison get his game together and make an impact to some extent. For all his faults he's persisted after his set backs and I respect him for that.
