It has been agreed that Povetkin will be having an interim fight before facing Wladimir. The fight will be in 2 or 3 months and probably in Russia I would guess. At the moment Harrison would be the biggest name to land the chance, and probably a low risk for Povetkin,

Why not? Two Olympic Gold medalists. Harrison is on the rise, he would take the title shot and might have a chance.

    No chance at all!
Povetkin would KO Harrison pretty fast and easy. Winning Pricefighter against such opposition is something different than fighting a fighter like Povetkin.

Terrible fight, but I guess it's OK to keep him busy before Wlad.

Harrison looked ten leagues above the opposition in his Prizeighter, like he finally had actually put togetehr his mind and skills and body after 10 years of doing the wrong things.

Even Haye said it was the best Harrison since the 2000 Olympics and the fight with him would've been much different if this version of Harrison turned up against him.

In terms of risk/reward for Povetkin it would rank very highly, he would bring an audience and much better then Rahman for his back-story alone.

Also Povetkin doesn't have the spark of Haye or Price to KO him early, would be a grinding type los such as Harrison suffered against Rogan the first time.

This isn't even trolling, I genuinely agree with this.

Nobody has ever put Derric Rossy away as quickly as Audley did. Pulev and Dimitrenko took 5 rounds. Chambers took 7 rounds the first time and went 12 rounds with him in the rematch.

Audley genuinely looked like a top 20 fighter out there, and this would be a better defence for Povetkin than Boswell or Rahman.

Well Rossy had two hard fights before he faced Audley! Did you see Rossy before the final fight? He was busted up and his face looked very bad!
But you are right it would be better than Boswell or Rahman.

I swear Audley is a ****ing zombie. No matter how many times he gets humilated and knocked the **** out he still gets brought up

Not a fight I'd care for but I wouldn't be suprised at all if it were to happen. If Povetkin wants to take a fight between now and Wlad this summer, I think he should, than I could see it being Harrison.

There's no way Povetkin is going to risk his big money fight with Wlad by taking on someone who could beat him. He's going to fight someone who is safe and has a bit of a name. Harrison fits and by winning Prizefighter
he's coming in on a high note and not the quick ko loss he had to Price.
