sadly being in a sh!tty reality tv show means Audley would pull in some non boxing fans for his next fight, so along with Frampton vs Quigg, Cleverly vs Bellew II, Khan vs Brook and Froch vs Degale could Audley being KO'd in the first round by Joshua also bring in big viewing figures/ticket sales ?
I actually had some my absolute ****** compare the two the other day! Hope it never happens, hope it never even gets spoken of, they are 2 polar opposites in terms of professional ability, determination and heart. Maybe Audley could fight Johnny Nelson and the winner takes Freddy Flintoff?
Hearn has ruled out the fight saying after the wilder and price early knockouts the fight wouldnt carry any weight. Still wouldnt put anything past A Force blagging the fight however. My prediction is he wins prize fighter then has a PPV fight with Joshua at Wembly
Just say this fight actually happens early next year and audley actually by some fluke lands a big shot and pulls off a KO win . Could Joshua ever be taken seriously again usually I would say one loss means nothing really . But the damage a loss to audley would do , would amazing Joshua would be the butt of every joker around boxing .
It's not the worst! Audley being taller and a southpaw could cause Joshua something to think about for a couple of rounds at least?
Id rather not see Joshua fight any of the following: Mcdonut, Brussel Sprott, Fanny Williams, Potato Rogan and Larry Olubumiwo. Either Too Old Too Fat Too shot or never has beens.
I think it's time for someone close to Audley to tell him to get some counselling because he's had enough opportunities to turn words into action but fails every time to comes to the crunch. Barry Jones once commented on the fact he heard Audley say at a press conference something like "ever since I was young I wanted to be a famous athlete" where as he always wanted to be in the sport to become "world champion" - they are two different out looks. Like I say, it time for Audley to get some proper counselling to get to the route of his issues because he's in danger of turning into another Danny Williams.
Not really. Fraudley only shows up if enough money is put in front of him, Williams(today at least) will fight just about anybody, anywhere and for any amount of money.
Although Audley would by a long way be Joshuas best opponent,Matt having gone back so far,I wouldn't like to see it. Possibly only reason would be in a couple of fights to see how he goes with a tall guy who is also a southpaw. Incidentally,I think Audley is a quitting himself well in Big Brother and also Ive seen him in much worse condition. Maybe its the starvation diet.
I still think that Audley could be a decent colour guy for any of the major networks- a bit like George Foreman, only less decorated and without a shed load of grills.
If Audley is to box again it is likely to be based on any popularity and enthusiasm he can drum up from appearing in Big Brother. Rather than reach too high and take another loss I don't see why he won't earn a few quid as the A side of a few small promotions and maybe go for a low level title or even something like a WBU belt.
I'd relish it.. most will say Joshua was rushed when he got beat. It could happen being one is 20 and one is 40 and Olympic Champions. The other big British fights will happen down the line though. I got a feeling this one will too though.
Agree with this. He can still have good fights here. Maybe against Cornish or ***ton, down the bill. Strike while the iron is hot after Big Brother.
Joshua was always the worlds (or one of in a split era) best as amateur. Tyrell Biggs never beat Stevenson etc.
