Audley confirmed on his twitter that he didn't drop wilder despite the rumours, an that wilder ha actually dropped him a few times

I think that may be Audley being kind to Wilder because they're mates. Also, one thing you've got to take in account is that Audley will want to big Wilder up as much as possible to UK fans who don't know of him so if he beats him it'll get him more credit. If he comes out and says Wilder is **** then no one will care if he wins.

Wilders best opponent to date by far, and hes almost had 30 fights

to be fair, Audley actually looked like he came out meaning business against Price, there was a little tussle for the center of the ring before Price caught him, maybe Audley will land one of those beautiful counters and have Wilder sag against the ropes like that prizefighter guy who lunged in

Imagine Audley TKO within 20 seconds

    I have to say it

    YES HE CAN

Yeah you could be right, just don't think Wilders management would put him in with audley if he wasn't handling him well in sparring. Doesn't necessarily mean wilder will win, as we all know audley can punch, I just think that they must have decided from the sparring sessions that the only chance of audley winning is if he lands a bomb

Almost too good to be true, this one.Didnt think it'd come off but its looking like it,only a couple of weeks to go.Really do hope Audley pulls it off,but can't see it.Those early losses don't augur well, against men who probably weren't as good as Wilder, despite what he looks like.Probably a bit better than he looks, didn't he win a bronze?Expect Wilder to win,and set up a fight with one of our younger heavies hopefully.

    No, no, he cant.

Deontay Wilder will KO Audley inside 5. He only has to land a punch half the power of David Price's.

I can't see Audley doing enough to force Wilder back. He will look to be on the back foot and counter with the left like in Prizefighter. It wont work. It will either be a terrible fight on points, or Wilder will just end it quick and put Harrison out of his misery.

Neither are good, but Wilder has some power and isn't so afraid to use it. Harrison is on the other hand.

you say Audley has lost to men worse than Wilder, yet Audley is Wilders best opponent BY FAR

you just never know with Audley though, maybe Prizefighter has given him some confidence though, a confident Audley can be dangerous

As if people are genuinely thinking Audley can do it.

    Boxing fans are so forgetful.

There's a reason why Wilder has been fighting dross for so long. He's 27-0 and yet even someone as derided as Audley represents a massive step up in class. That basically shows that either Wilder or his handlers have no real confidence in his ability and are just making a bit of cash before he's exposed.

If that was the case surely they would cash in on someone a bit more than Audley? Try thinking before just looking at boxrec next time :good

No mate, Audley is at a unique level. No way near good enough to fight world level but better than domestic level. He's a former Euro champ so I'd get you could class him as that. Not great but not **** either. He's just had a load of **** performances against good opponents if you can understand what I mean.

Wilder is completely untested. He's fought complete dross, absolute embarrassments. The sort of opponent you get someone for his first 5 fights, not his first 27! If Wilder KO's Audley quick it'll prove he's at a similar level to David Price. If he loses it proves only domestic level at the very best and won't ever get near a world title.

Who said anything about them cashing out on Audley?

I don't think that's the plan, I think they think they can get past him and maybe get a proper shot at someone fiscally significant.

That said, Audley does represent a career high payday for Wilder, by some way, I should imagine. It's a decent enough risk/reward ratio for Wilder.

    Audley KO.

The hype surrounding this Wilder fella finally stops.
