Audley Harrison vs. Tony Thompson

The Southern Disaster hit Audley down the rankings and Tony T beat Guinn to shine up in the HWTs - Audley wants to erase his loss to Guinn by way of beating his conqueror and get back to the HWT contendership position that TT secures in negative feedback process... The other look at it is that if he loses, it's a positive feedback system and he's done. Fair enough.

 

Bit out of the blue if true, isn't it? Talk about jumping the queue...

 

Thompson KO.

 

Audley is the definition of finished. He turned pro late, and then he got complacent and scared of being hit and fought bum after bum on a 1 million tv deal with the bbc for a year, after getting dropped the following year he went into hiding in the USA, and got beat twice in that year.


His chin is a serious issue.

He is an amateur and will never beat **** in the pro's end of.

im not a huge harrison fan but like i said earlier he hit some bumps in the road while learning his trade yeah knocked out once, dropped by williams, schooled by guinn. but against williams and against sprott he did what a heavyweight with his talent and power should do, he pressed the damn fight and was going for a knockout. the most recent evidence suggests that he has learned from his mistakes of not letting his hands go and not trusting himself. with his all around package, he could be one of the better heavies that weve seen in quite some time. all im saying is give him a chance to prove himself. thompson is pretty good. He is a big southpaw with not to much power but he can box very well. well enough to make most of the gatekeepers regret fighting him which is why he has had problems getting fights. this match is going to be interesting and i hope it is televised in the states because i want to see it

 

Thompson by UD. Unlike Harrison, Thompson isn't afraid to use his jab and can dominate a fight with it.

Harrison has the power to KO Thompson. But, I bet that Harrison will be timid after the Sprott fight and we see a Guinn-Harrison type fight where Thompson's better utilized jab will win.

This is a close match that can go either way. I do think Harrsion has more skills and speed, but Thompson is a bit tougher. Too close to call!
