I think you're confusing heart with something else perhaps? I stand by my statement that by getting in the ring and facing the kind of ridicule he does in search of his dream Audley shows heart. People have retired having being much less humiliated.

Who the hell hates Audley Harrison?

    He's too insignificant to hate.

That wasn't aimed at you, apologies. Yours is actually a considered argument and as such deserves credit. However...

Do you really think that a man who received £1m (about $1.5m) for his first 10 fights is so desperate as to sign up for this Prizefighter competition (winner's prize £32k) for any other reason than the fact that he has a point to prove... A fighters heart surely? To go into the ring just to prove a point? I'm not disputing the fact that he doesn't necessarily have the psyche to win. I'm saying that he has the heart to keep on keeping on. Psyche and heart, two very different things no?

Care to tell us about your achievements and endeavours in the face of adversity? Why don't you just **** off you little *****? I bet you spend the best part of your day on here just slagging off people who have achieved things you can only dream of. Good ****ing night you cretin.

he steps in the ring because its his job. hes just not very good at it. i know people who are terrible plumbers, some people just are but they still go to work and some of them earn more than me. it doesnt mean they have heart, they just blag it.

it doesn't matter whether he has heart or not. He expected to be coronated heavyweight champ instead of earning it in the ring. He can't beat b level fighters so anymore talk about him is just a waste of time unless it's a thread of worst olympic gold medal heavyweights.

They do it for the money though, surely? Not because they feel that they have to prove themselves against that burst pipe?

Is my point that hard to understand people? Somebody help me out please?

well course they do and i understand your point, i mean hes just a wasted talent because i do believe that he has ability. i remember him being compared to lennox lewis. if ths doesnt motivate you then i dont know what will. he should maybe take up snooker.

In his mind he does believe that he can succeed and become the world champ thats why he keeps trying after all the ridicule, he's become almost immune to it, also the money helps him continue to fight.
But its when he gets into the ring that it all leaves him. The guy has all the tools to be a great fighter apart from the heart, the fight with Rogan showed that. If he had half what Sexton showed against Rogan then he would have beaten him but he didn't fancy it on the night and kept backing off.
Fighters that know that they will never be great and lose regulary, taking a beating along the way for little money, they are the ones with real heart and pride.

I'd interpret as the fact that he's delusional enough to think he still has a shot at success in boxing. He's one of those people that will reinterpret anything and everything that happens to him into some contorted positivity that persuades him to continue on fighting. I'm sure Audley does want to be great and successful, but he just doesn't have the vim, courage or work ethic to realize it.

It doesn't surprise me that he's signed up to PrizeFighter; but I don't interpret it as anything other than a continuation of the same lies we've been hearing since 2000.

i think thats a bit harsh on bruno , i just think if bruno was fighting today he would probably be the most dnagerous challenger for either of the klits but that just shows how weak the heavyweights are today
