I'm on the Audley Express. The problem with him is his utter ridiculous comments and entirely deluded fantasies when he has failed, very publicly, to deliver despite the big fanfare and license-fee cash. Funny thing is that lots of other fighters say that they are going to win this or they are going to win that but they're seen as being ambitious or talking up themselves which in this game is self-promotion and ticket sales.
Audley gets my support! In an odd way, he could be seen as quite inspirational, he has never given up (despite all the adversity), he had the belief and courage to challenge the establishment (aka Frank Warren) with his self management (aka A-Force), although this may have proven to be his down-fall (if you accept his views expressed in Sky interview) and like the "good old underdog" he just keeps the belief and determiation to achieve his goals! I think a role model for many! Good luck to the guy and I for one hope he achieves what he feels he deserves.
Peeps, don't forget... Audley>>>Lewis Audley>>>Tyson Audley>>>Ali Gotta admire his belief though, fair play to him.
I've always been a fan of Audley and I think he'll win Prizefighter. Shame he turned pro too late really
he talk himself up a lot and he isn't as good as he thinks/says/was expected to be but who doesn't do that? not really his fault he was so overestimated.
I dont think its so much the fact he has failed to deliver. People can respect and handle that. Its the fact he spews such ridiculous shite afterwards and has such obvious delusions of grandeur.
I think everyone's just fed up with him. He has to be the most frustraiting fighter ever; I am sick of watching him win a fight and showing all the prospects of a great heavy weight WORLD champion but then when it comes to the crunch he bottles it. IMO he is too scared of taking a punch, to be fair I would hate to take a shot from a heavy weight but he seems more concerned with taking a shot than throwing his own. If I was Audley's trainer I'd get him to watch/study Wladimir Klitschko becase he has a lot of the same frailties (& strengths) but has still managed to win a world title.
I totally agree. I see him as a figure of fun in a kind of kitsch way. Its like supporting Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards.
What is this rubbish ? He called Bruno (a man recovering from a cocaine habit, depression and retirement) out FFS Man's a pleb ! He's like a panto character. I hope Belshaw stands him on his head !
I think the bruno saga was lit by others and harrison added fuel to the fire. Did'nt bruno say " i could beat him right now " or something along those lines.Anyway it takes more than what he's done to proper turn on him for me !
Dont forget he had been retired for 8 years and said he had 'beef' with him! haha! Fraudly has and always will be a damm joke......Really not that suprised if the threadstarter is that looser
If the A-Force stop being negative when fighting and let those guns loose, he would ruin his opponents, he has skill, he has heart, he has a good punch, his samina is reasonable for a heavyweight, his chin is questionable to say the least, if he slipped a couple of punches then leta meaty hook go like haye does, then he would maek headlines, till then he will be known as 'spent force not a force'
