Sure you are Audley... But, it got me thinking, rather than this being the usual A-Farce hate thread, what would Audley have to do in 2010 to earn your respect? Who would you realistically want him to fight?
This thread's been posted before, but, initially, it wouldn't even be about fights. A sit-down with Bunce (or someone) in which Audley admits to being a deluded **** & surrounding himself with the wrong people, in the hope of starting afresh, would do him the world of good. Imagine it: "Steve, I've been a bell-end haven't I, it's all so clear now" I'd be back on board instantly. This is never going to happen as he's a ****ing fruitcake, so I can't see me ever respecting him.
Mcdermot/Fury > Sexton > Virchis > top ten contender > world champ. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaharrison could do it that way.
O.k. I'm very tempted to just slag him off, but I won't. For him to suprise me next year it would mean that he has had 4 or 5 fights and ends up as European Champion. British/Commonwealth Championship is a real possibility but winning the EBU would completely be out of the blue.
possibly sexton then the sosnowski/vidoz winner? but i doubt we'll even see audley fight three times in 2010. a fight with boytsov would be very helpful as the man is ranked highly by all the associations.
audley should already have another fight scheduled. if he got himself ranked by the WBA the haye fight would be a possibility. it would deffinatley sell.
I'm thinking .. 1. Rematch with Rogan, if he wins.. 2. Fight the winner of Sexton v Williams for British title, if he wins 3. Someone with an international rep but is out of shape like Sam Peter
Or an alternative approach would be to go **** or bust and try and fight Chris Arreola when he's looking for a comeback fight. As long as Aud puts up a decent fight he'll gain a fair amount of respect win or lose
rogan rematch winner of sexton/williams one top 15 heavy and end the year of with a top ten opponent he has to move quickly at his age
