I have a sneaky feeling he wont retire because he has this Holyfield like bull**** going on where he seems to think its his destiny to hold the HW title (again in Holy's case). I think a Sprott rematch would be a decent fight now that hes done on the world level (not that he was really on it), other than that...Chisora after he most likley loses to Klitty is the only other option.. or the usual merry-go-round of Williams, Skelton (assuming he hasnt retired again. ....fight was a joke ....Haye your a ****....another 7 months before we see another fight no doubt
When I woke up this morning, I thought I'd had a really stupid dream where a British fighter who thought it was his destiny to win a heavyweight world title had finally got a shot after years of setbacks.......... ....... and then threw ONE ****ING JAB IN THE WHOLE FIGHT! But no, I checked online, and I did actually see that. It actually happened. Un****ing believable.
I know his trainer Shaheed gets paid anyway but **** me, if I had spent 3 months training someone and they landed one jab I would be ****ing pissed!
He got the chance of a lifetime, was handpicked by Haye and made a million quid and up, and all he did was lay an egg and walk home. And yet, David criticizes fighting Shannon Briggs and guys like that, at least they made themselves worthy of a pay check.
Audley isn't a fighter. His confidence is shot and he looked shell shocked from the word go. He didn't have a plan either. He just kept talking about the left hand. Nothing else. He only had one plan; to land the left and that was it. OT: Arran, do you drive a BMW by any chance?
Hatton and a few others got it spot on when they said there is no problem with a game plan to take it to the later rounds before you open up but you cant just literally stand there and wait for those later rounds. That part of the game plan was just ****in stupid, Audley was also **** scared to take a shot from Haye. I think he believes his own hype and believes this nonsense destiny is set in stone but as soon as a fight starts reality hits him before his opponant does and his fighting heart, the one we hear about from him, dissapears instantly. Then within about an hour after the fight is over that fighting heart returns and he believes hes brilliant again. I knew i should of saved my 15 quid and looked for an internet stream.
