Audley's career has been very good. Yes he is world champion and olympic gold medalist, but it could have been more of course. The problem is that Audley was a "man of the people" too much and did things for his fans that were not in his own self interest. If Audley had have done things on his own terms he would be the greatest heavy of all time.
He did do things on his own terms. That was his biggest business mistake. (Being scared to get punched, is another.)
