Who do we think would win against Audley 'A Force' Harrison Vs Andy 'Cheeseburger Picnic' Ruiz Jr? No contest for me, Audley would demolish the fat little fella, knockout before round 6. What say you?
People focus far too much on the belly of Ruiz, he’s a solid fighter. Hence why Wilder and his team don’t seem to be in much of a rush to fight him.
Ruiz has fast hands and throws in combination and has a decent chin. He's stops Audley who was too gun shy to let his hands go
Seems Ruiz is going to duck the IBF mandatory fighting Hrgovic to take on a much easier opponent in Wilder. Shame.
Audley was scared stiff in many of his fights and the sight of Ruiz marching towards him would have made him freeze. Ruiz by KO within 3 rounds.
Hrgovic got a controversial 12 round decision against a slow and badly stamina-challenged guy whose best win was Rudenko and who drew with Forrest fairly recently. Hrgovic also failed to stop Kevin and Sean Turner. And he brings next to no money or interest to the table. Fighting Hrgovic instead of Wilder would imply that Ruiz is so terrified of being knocked unconscious that he's basically willing to fight for free for an easier path to a title. But as much as you want Ruiz to make the cowardly and boring choice, I give him more credit and say he won't. The reason why you don't want Wilder fighting Ruiz is because he'll school him/punch a hole through him and AJ will look awful as a result. It's the same reason why you're happy that Whyte has ducked Wallin twice now; 6 months prior to the Fury mismatch and recently to fight Jermaine "10 round distance with Pavel Sour" Franklin, AJ's next zero threat opponent.
Ruiz JR is effective countering of others work. Whilst Audley barely throws any punches. Would expect Audley to get stopped at some point, but it would be a dire fight.
Well it could be a tough night at this stage of his career but I will go Sprott all over again. 12th round BOOM!!!!
