If Rogan regains the commonwealth title, how about a rematch? Another collision of prizefighter winners

For Audley, I think a fight with Fury would be perfect, good exposure and winnable as Tyson is still a novice.

Maybe not a great choice for Fury though, unless he improves a lot in the gym and fancies his chances.

I think realistically the best Audley can hope for is Euro level as his deficiencies take too much away from his other almost-world-class attributes.

    IMO

Winner of Fury vs Mcdermot is a good choice.

Bad matchup against Rogan IMO, he would lose again, but if Sexton wins the fight then it's a good option.

Trying to grab an european belt, against Pianeta or the winner of Sosnowsky vs Vidoz, souds like a good option too.

Big punchers and gutsy fighters should be avoided.

He should fight the winner of Fury-McDermott, or the winner of Rogan or Sexton. See if he can beat those guys.

If he wants to move up in class, seeing an old Evander Holyfield or James Toney beat him in a few rounds would be entertaining and put him back into perspective. I wouldn't wish David Tua on him though, I'm not a true Audley hater.

Peter is just as bad. Regardless of what Audley says, he does need to build his confidence. A win over a Fury/Sexton type guy will help with that, but I wouldn't put him near Peter or anyone else at even fringe world class untill he had proven to himself that he can cut it at Euro level.

Going from a win over, say, Sexton to a guy like Peter/Tua/Ruiz would be madness.

Peter is pretty bad and he's going down not up, my estimation of him during his career has dropped even more dramatically than that of Harrison.

I'd actually give Audley a chance, but a slim one. Any amount of pressure seems to ruffle Audley, and Peter could walk through his punches. I think Audley could possibly outbox him, but not for a full ten rounds, or even for a full 3 minutes of a round. Even a slobbish Peter would get him out of their sometime, in all likelihood, or just intimidate Harrison so much he'd win a laclustre points decision.

Harrison should stick to 3-round fights against amateurs and novices. It's always been his forte.

given guinn's recent 3 fight run i would say that is the perfect place to start. if he can avenge that loss i think it shows some worth again. same with rogan. i can never look at him as anything more if he can't beat that world gatekeeper level type fighter.

Harrison is not even British title level class.

He first fought for the title and lost to Danny Williams.

He then fought against a journeyman in Guinn (who has 3 losses and 1 draw from his last 5 fights) and lost again.

This dropped him below the level of British title class.

Then getting KTFO and brutally by Sprott in 3 rounds spelled the end of him as a british level title challenger.

He has also lost against the limited journeyman Rogan since then.

The fact that he has won the 20-20 challenger against area level fighers just proves his abillity, that he is fringe british title level.

If Harrison gets beyond British title level from here then I will be very surprised. Even winning the European title for him will be a massive achievement.

    Stop begin so deluded Audley.

An Audley Harrison v Sam Peter fight has the potential to be the biggest stinker of all time!

Agree with the earlier post - Harrison should avoid punchers and pressure fighters. I don't know if it's just me, but he does look genuinely scared at times in the ring, more than any other fighter I can think of.

I think the fact that Fury couldn't break an egg would mean that Audley would probably edge a decision against him. McDermott would be a tough fight because he'd come straight at Audley, but again I see Audley winning on pts.

If Tua fought Audley, it would end up on you tube on those 'funniest knockouts of all time' compilations.

I'm actually pleased for the bloke that he won the other night after all the abuse he got, but I still don't see where he has to go. As soon as he comes up against someone half decent and who can punch, he will fall short.
