Usually at least 1-2 people make a RBR thread besides @CST80 and I. Not this month...guess that's partially because of how slim the pickings were and partially because we both were pretty active - with C picking up most of the major cards and IB the smaller ones that slip between the cracks.

I completely forgot about Knockout of the Month!

 

I've narrowed down my FOTM candidates to: Cañizales vs. Pradabsiri II, Mosqueda vs. Bakhtiyorov, and Mitsiriwat vs. Photjanasuk.

I highly recommend anybody that hasn't watch all three of those. Cañizales vs. Pradabsiri II was the main event of the August 1 card, Mosqueda vs. Bakhtiyorov was part of the Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix quarterfinals on the 14th, and Mitsiriwat vs. Photjanasuk is a real dark horse, a women's four-rounder from the undercard of Era vs. Anbuchezhian on 8/28...but I'm leaning towards it actually being my pick!

Knockout of the Month - I'm going to have to give it to Jassiel "Flashito" Amador, over José Miguel Raymundo "El Alacrán" (The Scorpion) Corona, coming in just under the wire on August 31st.

This was terrifying watching live, as Corona remained lying motionless for another ten minutes past where I've cut off the video. Both the promoter of the card and the broadcaster have assured me that Corona is doing okay:

"Flashito" is now 12-0-1 (12), and the draw with Cuahutli Guerrero Navarro is reportedly a robbery where Amador vastly outlanded Guerrero. The fans demand a rematch, but next up for Amador (per his promoter Roger Peralta) is going to be a crack at the WBA Fedelatin title.
