If Brand beats Ward that's the biggest failure in boxing history, he's not dangerous.

It's a keep busy fight, nothing more nothing less. That said, Brand isn't that good and he's never fought at this weight before. He gave Jack a close fight years ago but Jack was a 10 fight novice at the time. Ward should really get a KO here, especially if he wants to generate additional buzz for the Kova fight

Its amazing whats Wards "easy" fights look like.

Ward had a huge lay off and came back and fought Paul Smith and was ridiculed for it, even though Smith was fresh off 2 competitive title shots at 168.

And now hes fighting a guy, essentially as a stay busy fight, who according to Jack himself was very lucky to get a decision against.

And hes being ridiculed for it.

Paul Smith is one of the least respected fighters in the UK. He wasn't robbed in either of those fights and frankly did absolutely nothing other than look domestic level against Groves and Degale to warrant being there at all. I've acknowledged this is keep busy fight as have a few others, but please don't try and make Paul Smith out to be something he isn't.

I'm simply saying that Ward is possibly the only guy at 168-175(he hadn't fought at 175 when he fought Smith) who'd be ridiculed for fighting a guy coming off 2 competitive title fights after a long lay off.

Wasn't Smith at 172? Not that it really matters. I don't seem to remember him getting much stick to be honest but this board operates in hyperbole

All jokes aside, he's fighting Kovalev 3 months after. This is purely for ring rust, who is little g going to fight by the end of 2016? Tureano Johnson? CEJ? LMFAO!

that's what these twerps don't realize...they only diss themselves when they diss this fight

behind this is a megaclash with a lhw champ....battle of unbeaten p4p stars

when lil g takes a fight like this there is only another one just like it behind it

these guys constantly clown themselves and their own hero because they cant resist...theyre so insecure about lil g its pathetic

Did you not see what happened to lil' shook yesterday? He got ko'd hard. The reff should have stopped it much earlier when he saw that shook wasn't answering any shots, but I think the reff just wanted to see how much brain damage he could endure.

He looked like broner exiting the building, and the whole crowd was ****ing on him. I don't think you'll see lil'shook making anymore predictions after that.

That's not really fair. And you know it. There was an agreement in place that both Canela and GGG would get one fight before they met. Canela took a WW, while GGG took out a replacement mandatory.

This is the same for Ward. Big fight lined up after a stay busy tune up. However, some of you guys are giving him credit for it already even though the fight hasn't happened. IF ward makes it to the ring, win or lose he gets credit for it. And I agree that the winner should be bumped to #2 P4P
