Horn did well, for all the hype over Hooper Horn was easily our best performer at these games. Just a shame to come against the Ukrainian, otherwise there would be a medal around his neck. The Ukrainian was just a little bit too busy and ring savvy for the inexperienced Horn.

He really had a go...really proud of him.

He was outclassed pretty much from the start but hung in there all the way..thought he deserved a few more points overall.

He didn't just try to stick to a gameplan that wasn't working...tried a few different things but the Ukranian knew to much, landed the more telling blows clearly...I think the Ukranian would make a pretty good pro.

Bad luck Horny, last man standing 'great effort...and well done Naomi for representing woman in the first year of womans boxing at the olympics :good

Hooper is turning pro, who he will fight under is the next question? Some say he needs a trainer who will teach him discipline, take out the cocky in Hooper and you will have a better boxer. Needs a good smack over his bare bum

Congrats to Jeff Horn on getting through to the quarters. Outstanding effort :good

Unfortunately I can't see us winning an Olympic boxing medal any time soon though. Hopefully in 4 years time that will prove to be a silly comment.

Jeff had a red hot go and put it all on the line, the work rate in the last round was frantic.
Can't ask for much more than that, he did Aus proud...
