How can I catch the boxing live over here. I've been checking channels (regular Digitial TV I don't know what theyre called) and put it on last night at 10:30 when the boxing was on and couldn't find a thing. Any help is appreciated.
Get FOX. They have had just about every session in full, other than that it is like every other free to air Olympics...hap hazard and poorly presented.
Lomachenko is a freak!! The cuban kid toledo that he fights next is also very talented ( no surprise) but lomachenko fought him last year and dropped him hard in the first rd. Ogogo got a gift. The ukraine protested the dec but it was denied. Thats two gifts the GB team have received. Apparently terrell gausha from the usa got dudded big time as well. Olympic judges and scoring is a farce. Assholes screwing young kids who dream of this one event.
He fights the young Rican kid next. He started slow, then just wow...Heading for another Val Barker trophy I reckon. Does look a little undersized at lightweight though doesnt he.
Getting Fox aint an option but thanks I'll have a look at online or maybe the boxing finals might be when less other events are on. Apparently Ogogo was fortunate but it was a lot closer than the Savon/joshua fight not a robbery just real close except the deciding thing at the end was weird.
4th of August against Russia's Egor Mekhontcev and yes the cuban HW was robbed, you can tell by the replay in the last round, he landed 3 solid punches in one combo and was only given 3 points for the entire round? which clearly was not the case, he landed alot more than 3 punches as Teddy Atlas pointed out.
Cameron Hammond lost 14-11 to the Canadian. Got totally dominated in the 2nd half of the match after looking good early. Not many Aussies left now.:verysad
Flurries dont count as they have to press a button for each punch so each flurry counts the same as a pot shot. Its not fair but thats the way the scoring works
