    Aussie Heavy Weight Champ.....every reason to be proud mate, you bloddy well deserved it. Well done on the win last night, I was wrapped to see you get this one :good.

    We have better heavys than what was on display last night. Kirby winning gave it some credibility.. The rest of it was disgraceful... Zaps win was hard fought against a tough as **** opponent... Great fight...

    Obviously the money on offer wasn't enough to entice them. The winner of the NZ event will get 10x as much as Kirby got for winning on Thursday night. In fact the first round losers in NZ will make significantly more than Kirby took home.

    I really really enjoyed the heavyweight tourney

    Sometimes boxing is most fun to watch when the guys aren't the best in the world. You see more action and less technical defence

    Evenly matched opponents usually produce good fights, regardless of the level of their ability. These one night tournaments could really catch on.
