    Bugner was 100% Hungarian, born there to Hungarian patents. he is a top 100 of all-time HW. Beat Cooper, Ellis, Mac Foster, Bey, Denis, Page-lost to Middleton and Marvis Frazier though.

    aussie joe did have his share of bad investment issues,also went bankrupt,but from what ive seen,the aussies love him,for what he stands for,a big guy having a go,who can have a laugh,and can take the **** out off himself,didnt allways win,but allways had a smile,

    He had a great heart, going the distance with Ali, he won my respecth.

    More a case of being related by birth!
    The guy was a great boxer in his time and in hi sprime but you wont find many people here preaching about the great things that "Aussie Joe" did!
