Aussie Justice - a small rant

totally agree, im sick to death of these people getting caught and getting off lightly or scott free because of who they are... how many ****en times do you here of footy players etc doing something blatantly illegal, a huge scandal ensues, jail time is mentioned, and then it conveniently disappears never to be mentioned again. The ****en clubs wanna save their own arse rather than see justice served

 

this one really, really pissed me off.. if this was me id most likely be sitting in a cell somewhere now but this ****wit not only gets off but actually recieves "support" from the media who believed HED BEEN HARD DONE BY????!!!!!
its just the way of the world now mate. theres no personal responsibility for ANYTHING..
everything is the fault of drugs, alchohol, deppression, ADD, television, advertising etc etc..
in other words anything that lays the blame elsewhere.
it drives me up the wall

I agree. I'm not particularly happy that D'Arcy is going to be allowed to represent Australia as well, in spite of being a convicted criminal (albeit suspended sentence).

 

When you say "national hero", do you mean Australia or New Zealand?

My dad was carrying way less then what catchpole had and got 5-7years for it...

You do the crime you have to accept the time but **** it pisses me off seeing these blokes getting off ridiculously light..

Bet my balls on it Bird will get a 3-5 year suspended sentence,a few hundred hours community service and also be required to do a few months of counselling on his anger issues..

Seen the paper today with the grub prancing out of court looking smug as with his slick suit and designer shades..******* literally wouldnt know what hit him if he actually does get time over this..

 

Good call. As for Bird's missus, it's a shame they can't make her come back to testify (not that she would). Next time she pisses off bird -and ends up with a face full of glass I hope she doesn't expect anyone to care.

Good call. What is it with some women who stay with blokes who are complete arseholes who bash them up or cheat on them etc etc. Her father probably abused her mother when she was growing up and she thinks that sort of behaviour is the norm for men.

 

I could very well have left my laptop logged into ESB. I've done that a few times before.
