AUSSIE POSTERS:i have a idea

good idea mate... because no one in the lounge cares less about Australia so we cant really post them there without getting hijacked. I reckon we get the "know your fellow poster" thread stickied again and then create a new thread called something like "off topic Aussie thread" or something

 

The "Know your fellow poster" thread is fairly random with topics. everything from "Sopranos" to "ugly obese porkers vomiting" gets discussed there.

That was the idea of stickying that thread though when i pitched it to the Mods... They said all non boxing in that thread. Know your fellow poster is pretty much an excuse to talk about the most vulgar, non boxing relevant stuff we can come up with... And lets be honest, thats what half of us come to the foum for anyway. Just to talk about rubbish, and have a laugh. I highly doubt this forum is know for its politcal correctness, and boxing insight haha. If anything, boxing in the Aus forum is simply a sub topic, to the much more important and interesting random bullsh*t haha. Aus forum is like the lounge minus the nerds, tryhards, wiggas, fatboys, gaylords, politicians and serial killers. Basically a better version.

its the place to talking about getting pissed, picking up roots, footy and getting in blues. Pretty much just an Aussies blokes forum. Gold

 

Thing i hate most about the lounge, is they way they try to make this "inner circle"... I've got better things to do with my time personally then have a circle jerk over Moralman. Some people there takes things WAY too seriously... Its not some prestigous social ladder like they want it to be.

 

hahaha couldn't have said it better. As much as i love discussing at length the pro's and cons of evolution and creation, and the liberal heart of america, i reckon ^^^^^ sums up everything that the lounge needs. There are some good threads, but 95% is just absolute garbage. ESB is a funny forum hey, sometimes i marvel at the fact that i found this place. I am suprised that so many different people use it, many of whom don't actually know ANYTHING about boxing. How do so many people find this place???

 

the lounge is getting ****ed... all politics and Moralman gay ****. And if you dont have 21,000 posts, no life and live in a trailer then your not part of the "it" group. Seriously, what type of degenrate, sad mother ****er would want to be popular in an internet forum? pack of geeks...

Yep. The Aus forum is the best here imo. I only really go to the lounge to read up on some European football threads/news. Sometimes I'll get bored and start some useless threads there, but normally I'll just stay here (mainly in the "know your fellow poster) thread, and sift through the general forum.

 

hahaha, couldn't have said it better. There are still some alright people in there, and i wander in from time to time, but there are some freaks as well. I like the movie, music and travel threads, as well as the hot women threads... Always good value.

 

haha its sad, but Aussie boxing doesn't really have enough going for it to warrant its own forum.. If it weren't for everything else, this place would be a ghost town. Its toned down a lot though, i remember when i first joined up, it was just a whole heap of people hurling insults at each other over Mundine and Green. They were seriously the only 2 fighters that got discussed, it was f*cking hilarious. Hearing Gav and Oz go off at each other was funny stuff.
