I agree about Griifo and the lack of detailed print that accessible. The best way of getting hold of info regarding him is via the books written aboout Joe Gans, Jack McAullife and the likes. Testimonies from men that he faught are conclusive enough to assume he was the single most freakish man to ever step into the ring. If Griffo had any semblence of brain matter in his head, he would have been the most unique sportsman of the first half of the century..... his lack of brains probably allows him that title anyway. Ray Swanwick spent 20 years researching and detailing the life of Griffo, after doing so he still refuses to have his records published. Why?? Simple, he's not satisfied with the work yet. John Hogg has alegedly found close to 50 unrecorded Griffo bouts also. As for Fenech, management, multi title and 'Olympic glory' at a bouycoted Olmpics is his value. Yep, tough fighter. Yep, ripped off in Vegas. Ask the average fight fan to name 5 of his opponents without looking at the record books... He's best remembered for the loss in Vegas. Give him his dues though, 3 title is 3 title, regardless of opposition. Its your list, and you invited an arguement from anyone. So there ya go.
**** off the pineapple and replace it with mushroom and anchovies thanks, pay by credit card and send the ****er on. Classic crust please

well my facking apologies then Ashley! LOL One thing I can absolutely guarentee you. Choc will not be the top of my all-time p4p list
1. Les Darcy 2. Young Griffo 3. Lionel Rose 4. Dave Sands 5. Kostya Tszyu 6. Jimmy Carruthers 7. Johnny Famechon 8. Ron Richards 9. Jeff Fenech 10. Jack Carroll. I have no difficulty in saying both Barry Michael and Lester Ellis would have iced Fenech at sF/W. Happy to argue the placing with you.
Great fighters 4 sure...it makes me think how good archie moore was.....stared in movies...., sat rocky on his ass, got punched out by Ali....most KO's in history and kicked rons ass a few times :yep
