    These Super8 tournaments seem to be flavour of the month at the present time. There's one in Melbourne in a couple of weeks time featuring the following boxers:

    Nathan Briggs

    Brett Smith

    Willie Nasio

    Andre Meunier

    Les Mason

    Royce Sio

    Tai Tuivasa

    David Levi

    Michael Kirby

    Lacks the international flavour of the NZ tournament and no doubt the big prizemoney as well. Is some of these guys were smart they'd try and get in the NZ one. The money is attractive, if nothing else.

    Being a one night stand, the draw will play a role here. If favoured chances such as Nathan Briggs or Mick Kirby get matched with an easy opponent early in the night it should provide them with a distinct advantage in progressing though fresh and ready to go for the final.

    Hoping I can remember how I inserted this NZ tourney http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=620606 so it's in order in card results & individual's record, unlike UK's Prize Fighter shinding, which resemble nothing short of Aussie outback shithouse.
