weed would just make you love your opponent, not wanna kill him. And after the fight, as a celebratory thing, alcohol is actually dangerous, but legal. we had our snowboarder stripped of his gold medal for smoking weed after the event was done. trust me, when it comes to weed (which is ONLY illegal as a result of racism, a way to control the mexicans in the 1900's and the black musicians in the 20's and 30's) the worlds governments are so ******ed and stuck in the propaganda laden early 1900's
would you believe not one person, not ONE PERSON has ever died as a direct result of smoking marijuana. there are so many new studies that show thc helps FIGHT cancer, not cause it, is not addictive, helps repair brain cells, and is a far better mood stabilizer than any of the current anti-psychotics and anti-depressants. anyone who still holds onto the old belief that marijuana is 'bad' for you needs to either do some of their own research, or stfu on the subject. i dare you to go to your convenience store and buy a bottle of aspirin, now take 10 full size aspirins. see if you're alive tomorrow to try and smoke a quarter ounce. do it the other way around, and youll still die from the aspirin.
False 1 person has died from a direct result of marijuana use. It was a Canadian man who died from THC poisoning, he smoked a redicuously large amount daily and over a period of over 20 years
It is bull**** that pot is a banned substance, but thats really his own fault for smoking it going into a fight. Tyson-Golota was changed to a NC so how can you make exceptions for some and not others. But lets be honest, Trout didnt deserve a title shot to begin with.
This has been the complaint about boxing for a while now. they have their boxing drug priorities backwards.
you need to back that up bro. in simple terms, youll never overdose smoking weed because youll just pass out before that happens. if this man in question died from smoking, i would bet MY LIFE it wasnt just weed, or it was moldy and bad marijuana. I reiterate, NOT ONE PERSON IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND HAS EVER DIED AS A DIRECT RESULT OF MARIJUANA USE. dya think anyone could say the same about booze, cigarettes, otc meds, walking across the street, etc?
exactly. show hard proof or stfu. if youd like, i could cite countelss peer reviewed, double blind placebo controlled studies showing the BENEFITS of marijuana, but i only expect sports illustrated articles or pieces in the newspaper showing its deleterious effects. show me one study with the full methodology showing the negative effects of inhaling marijuana smoke, and then we can talk
This. Over the course of 20 years? There's no way to prove any information on that is accurate, unless doctors followed him around for 20 years to see if he could kill himself smoking weed.
The reason weed's illegal isn't for the fighters' benefit, it's for the fans. Sure, there's exceptions like Tyson-Golota, but a fighter comfortable enough in his skills to get high usually fights like it. Try watching a high-ass Chad Dawson fight and tell me that's the best he could do to entertain us. I've got nothing against it, but man, wait to celebrate after you win and put a good show on.
No. Just because you can't OD on it doesn't mean there aren't long term health issues. I don't belive there isn't one person out there who hasn't developed throat/mouth or lung cancer or emphysema etc. from smoking dope. You don't know either, don't pretend you do. Carcinogens can enter your body from over grilled meat. Are you really saying that marijuana is the one plant substance in the world that doesn't release carcinogens when burned? Again, I actually have no problem with weed, I even like it from time to time, but its ridiculous when the "420" crowd starts acting like smoking a joint is like taking a multivitamin.
