Canelo popped his cherry, the loss has devastated him. Since the loss he has been arrested for fighting in bars, rumored to not be training seriously and his new marriage does not look like its going smooth (he is frequently seen screaming with his wife)

That wasn't the real trout that lara fought

Theres is no other Austin Torut that is fighting now so YES that was the real Austin Trout. He lost to a damn good boxer in Canelo and put up a good fight, and lost to a good boxer in Lara. no need to say lara's win isnt good, Trout is a solid fighter and lose to 2 good fighters, thats all

Trout not the sharpest knife in the drawer. With very small fab base he will always be used as a stepping stone.

Trout vs. Canelo could have went either way and Trout was not used goods. Styles make fights and Lara just out classed him.

We'll have to see Canelo vs. Lara it will be an interesting fight.

Then I guess anyone coming off a loss is used goods and irrelevant. Bernard Hopkins was, literally, used goods his entire career. Frazier was used goods when he fought Ali. Norton was used goods when he fought Foreman and Ali...etc. Let's stop watching boxing altogether, everyone is used goods at some point!.

    ******.

    I see what you mean.

To give the OP the benefit of the doubt though, Trout has been rumored to be not taking 1st loss so well, so there may be merit to his post.

And also Canelo vs Trout was alot closer than the scorecards suggested. Whereas Lara dominated Trout

My impression of hispost was not the physical effects but the mental effects of #1 dealing with his 1st professional loss & #2 loosing his belt he had just won the previous fight before from Cotto.

Trout has never taken an Angulo or Bute type beating. His loss to Canelo was close and definitely not career altering or ending.

    Lara by UD or TKO

    Regarding the Canelo fight:
I think OP means "Mentally" Trout never recovered.
Austin had a lot on line that day including a gold digger he was about to wife up.
