Trout would be a tough fight for Floyd. His ambush tactics and ability to fight going backwards would give Floyd problems especially since Floyd likes to press southpaws. However Trout looks chicken legged and shaky at times moving around the ring and doesnt set himself to land damaging punches as to why he appears featherfisted even though he isnt. Floyd could take advantage of this and time him whenever he leaps in

Definitely a diffiucult fight stylistically and a fight i would love to see but probably wont, not only because of the danger trout presente but because of his lack of a name. Hopefully this comes with a W against canelo

Delvin Rodriguez and Cotto. Both better than anyone Canelo has fought

I say low balling because Schaeffer knew Kirkland had just suffered an injury and wanted him to fight Canelo months before the time he had previously said he would be fully healed and ready for action.

Sorry we don't evaluatte resumes on you would have and could have fought but on who you have fought.

Canelo hasn't fought anyone of note at 154 period.

Had canelo fought and beat cotto his victory would have been disregarded cause at the end of the day he fought a shot cotto who was coming off a loss.

yeah, who cares if mayweather has sat on a 154 pound title the last year, trout is a much bigger 154 pound champion so its ok to ***** out and fight a guy a few years removed from super featherweight instead...because Guerrero is the same same size right?

Floyd would beat Trout at 154. If Trout comes forward, the fight looks like a mixture of De La Hoya and Cotto with Trout landing a few jabs but nothing else and Floyd scoring points at will. If Trout moves backward Floyd would slip the jab and counter all day. He would fight in the pocket blocking and slipping most of Trouts offense staying to close to trout to get hurt.

Trout may be bigger than anyone Floyd has fought but it doesn't make Floyd any easier to touch. Mayweather UD 9-3.

Yet here he is about to fight trout. So lets see it would be safe to say that if canelo beats trout convincingly then it would only make sense that canelo would of whooped on cotto also. The way that trouts been elevated to superstar status by beating a small jmw who came off a loss is sickening.Canelo would of beat that version of cotto yet he wouldn't be getting the credit trout is getting.Dont get it twisted im not a canelo fan im just stating the truth.
