ESB Void this **** thread please as it's distracting all these so called experts away from my second installment in the best of Britsh ( Wales , Scotland , England & Northern Ireland ) V Australia debates .
Eventually i will , It's taken me this long to get part two up after Wales won Part 1 (narrowly ) .and Why not ? i know England will run away with it but it's a boxing site at the end of the day .
While Australia hasn't had too many world class boxers we have had a ton of world class kickboxers. And i think MMA will gain some more popularity here. There are a lot of sports that are popular in Australia and because of the small population Australia can't have world class athletes in that many sports. The UK has three times Australia's population so of course they will have more boxers and have a larger group of world class boxers but Australia has produced far more kickboxers with only one third the population. Plus i can't recall that many top Scottish boxers or kickboxers. Last time Australia played England and Scotland in Football (soccer) Australia beat them both. Well Australia beats Scotland at Football Basketball Rugby League Cricket Rugby Union Kickboxing Hockey Baseball Surfing Gaelic Football AFL Swimming Netball
Oh i forgot to add another point. At least large sections of Australia are not under Sharia Law! (though West Sydney is getting close) Like many parts of the UK are now because you have become soft politically correct wimps! I was born in the UK and to see how they allowed that and the London riots is a disgrace! Maybe its time to give your cops guns and bring back proper law. Not tribal bull**** from ****stan.:good
AFL don't count as a sport australia beats anyone else at surely. Does anyone play it? Ignore the troll for a tiny nation population wise in the middle of nowhere with a hugely spread out (if not dispersed) population Australia is ridiculously well represented in top level athletes. Ignoring the fact that boxing is nowadays a very niche sport over here you can hardly complain about it. MMA will be the future I think for aussies they seem to really get on board with it and is an easier transition from rugby to mma than football to mmma like in the uk.
No no no don't believe everything you read there is no sharia law. Most muslims don't want that let alone the white majority. The riots were another matter and the police made their point.
There is a ton of aussie kickboxers because those surfer types love going on those cheap kickboxing holidays in Thailand so they can claim they are proper bad man types, don't mess or you'll be in hospital cos I did a bit of the old muay Thai sparring with a midget Soft twats
I agree that domestically Aus boxing is a bit of a joke, due to promoters sqeezing the life out of it. As a nation we produce a handfull of world class figters, but that is purely based on population size. If Aus had the population of the USA or Europe, we would be kicking world class ass.
