Australian Boxing/SM Memorial thread

This is to be the new spot for Oz boxing discussion. I'm locking up/retiring @MidniteProwler's "Down Under Boxing Info" thread in favor of this one in tribute; MP, you don't mind, I'm sure?

Please none of the nonsense in here. Would be a shame for this one to end up going the way of the Aussie forum and several previous threads (although DUBI had a good run and managed to keep its nose clean for nearly two years, bravo), so for stiflers mum's sake, behave, yeah?

Stiflers Mum was a great poster and a legend across all boxing forums. RIP old friend you will be missed.

He passed away last month, ****ing gutting news.

I spun this out from his last ever post.

 

That's a damn shame...... I assumed this was just more "Aussie forum." shenanigans. Never had a problem with him and he always seemed like a good poster to me. RIP.

 

He was mint with everyone, as far as I know.

 

I'll be dedicating the Horn vs. Crawford RBR to ya, lad.

JW informed me the other day.

I only knew the bloke through here and I felt like I.have lost a mate. Just reviewing my old personal messages and most were from him, giving me **** about the Cronulla Sharks because he was a Dragons fan.

We lost a good one there gents. I just feel terrible for his family.
