Yep Julius Long would be the logical next step but remember he hurt Big Daddy with a body shot so is likely considered too dangerous, ridiculously. They'll build him up real slow i think. He's only young. I'm thinking Long next yr along with a good filling of tomato cans, then wait for Nasio and Purcell to reach their expiry dates. Feed them then call out Big daddy in 2021 when Browne is again strapped for cash. He'll then be a legend so anything after that is just a bonus for Meehan. Kevin Johnson will be brought down around that time to lose. He'll probably want a fight vs Parker in 5 years to avenge his pap's defeat. All that will make him some cash.

What's the consensus of Goodall and Mckean down Aus way? Ive only seen the latter, and he looked atrocious vs Oganov. Goodall the goods? Best hw prospect coming out of Australia?

McKean aint going nowhere God bless his cotton socks.

Goodall got the amateur pedigree. A bit more interested to see how he goes
Though I reckon he could bulk up a little.

Julius Long would be a good opponent after Meehan's next opponent. Even guys like Hunter Sam or Nasio/Ene Purcell would be step ups for Meehan.

I put my weeks pay on nick taking opetai the distance, made a nice sum @ $4.50 , nick is tricky, tough as nails and quite slick, but he is really a super middle and has no business at cruiseweight. Opetai is a real talent but needs time, he's levels above akkaway talent wise but I do see your point.

    * Opetia there are whispers that DDP are trying to match him up with Trent Broadhurst for
either its Oct / Nov card.
    * Liam Wilson should next fight the flamboyant LW IBF Youth Champ Jacob Ng and
a win would him give him that all important world ranking.
    * SLW IBF Youth Champ Steven Sparks is returning from hand injury at Big Fight Card
    24 Toowoomba Nov 2.
    * Floyd Masson has his sights on Aust CW Title.

    * I thought Brent Rice would outwork Gage Ireland when they fought for Aus LW Title 13
July . However the fight was stopped after Rice suffered a nasty cut. Rice camp protested
but the ANBF has stuck to its dec ruling Rice lost by TKO due to eye cut caused by
punch. I disagree and this is not like Kris George vs Jack Brubaker. Watch the rd in question.

Liam Wilson versus The Flamingo is a fight I like.

Jai Opetaia versus Trent Broadhurst is a fight I don't.

Can we have Jai Opetaia versus Blake Caparello instead?

Trent Broadhurst would be a good opponent for Super Hooper when the latter resumes.

Would Kane Watts be a viable option for Jai??
Has the WBA ranking and the full version of the regional title.

    * WBO no 2 Liam Paro is keeping active as he awaits a title shot with new Champ Jose Ramirez. He is fighting Thai Krai Setthaphon at Southport Sharks next month. The Thai went 9rds with Kambosos Jr in Oct 2017. His promoter despite Ramirez formidable reputation sounds upbeat. '' Ramirez is a pressure fighter but has trouble with slick southpaws like Liam. "
    * Ty Telford was absent from Luna Park card because of injury.
    * WBA no 10 CW Kane Watts has being training in Phuket. And hopes to be fighting soon.
    * MW Emmanuel Carlos who last fight was live on Facebook beating Wade Ryan on pts
is fighting on Sept 14 opponent TBA.
    * Its in the news a vicious prison fight in maximum security between Adrian Bayley and
Steve Hunter. Its lasted 3 min with Bayley winning. Both committed horrendous
crimes and should have got the death penalty.

    * Mike Francis soon will be a national force in Aust Promotions. Opetia , Wilson , Huni.

    * Francis Chua like Daniel Lewis ( started at SMW ) , Ty Telford and Joe Camilleri will be
awfully hard to beat at the lower weight.

    * Ty Telford returning Punchbowl Oct 12 . His camp rejected a rematch with Brubaker
because they felt he needed more exp but really he should be aiming higher.
    * Looks like Hopoate spirit is still alive in local league's. Who would want to be
referee anymore as i knew who somebody who wanted worked a security guard
for one of these local games ( central coast ) few yrs ago and ended up in hospital after
he was knocked out after being hit with a tree branch and in heard on talk back
radio the other day a local player had to be held back by his teammates after
the a game as he wanted to bashed the opposing team with a golf club.
