David Toussaint is on the rise . However Gunnar has never been stopped. Even current WBA champ Ryan Murota couldn't stop him. Toussaint too slick and wins on pts.

 

How's the August opponent, Leuken?

Is Queensland State champion. Has been stopped one. Good domestic clash but really is way below Toussaint level. Toussaint camp plan to press for world ranking after Gunnar fight.

Tim Tszyu has called out Anthony Mundine an word on the street is that it’s going to get signed. Interesting fight. I would make old Choc the favourite still at this juncture. Tszyu looks strong but is untested an has only fought one 10 rounder where he was dropped.

 

Junior Tszyu isn't ready for Mundine. In fact, he isn't ready for Dave Toussaint.

He might be ready for the pay cheque though. That's what it will be about if the fight gets made.

 

Surely not unless MP is right and little Tszyu is **** so they are just going for a pay day. I'd imagine it would do ok financially ..

 

Mundine v Tszyu would do massive numbers financially.

Even if one is over the hill & the other has only just begun climbing.

The chances of a ko in Jeff Horn title defense against Crawford have risen dramatically with both fighters to use gloves with next to no padding. Horns trainer Glen Rushton has decided to fight fire with fire after learning through sponsors Everlast that Crawford intended to use gloves made of horse hair rather than the customary foam padding. Horse hair gloves can be easily manipulated to expose knuckles and increase punching power. Horn and Crawford will wear the lightly padded Everlast MX gloves favored by sluggers.
Rushton said " U need very strong hands to use them and this is where all the martial arts conditioning Jeff has been doing on his hands will be vital. These gloves double the shock of the punch because there is so little padding. It will be dangerous in there because getting hit with one of these is like getting punched in the face with a bare fist. These gloves were a real changer for Horn.
Everything Crawford has done, first with postponing the fight and now using these gloves can only back fire on him. The postponement has only made Jeff fitter and by choosing these gloves has only made Jeff fitter and by choosing these gloves Crawford has played right into our hands. "
