Renold Quinlan is another one .MW or SMW his name has to be in the discussion.

 

Yeah, for sure. Quinlan is a handful for anyone at domestic level as Super Hooper found out. He'd be a good test for a few of the names on that list. Not sure they'll be queuing up to fight him though.

Should be a tournament at Super Middle to determine who is the best.

Bilal Akkawy v Jayde Mitchell

Winners to meet to settle it.

 

Akkawy is suppose to be fighting on 4 Aug opponent TBA. A fight with Mitchell is the one most likely to happen. Murdock it seems will fight international opponents and Quinlan with the hand injury needs a rest but of the four he has already fought for world title. ( Eubank ) Very intriguing what future path they take with Quinlan. He was planning to fight in Russia before Hooper fight scuttled those plans.

 

I think Quinlan has made a smart move taking a rest.

The fight with Hooper was grueling to say the least. Taking fights so soon off the back of that would have been a mistake.

The fact that Murdock has signed with that promotional outfit in Qld means we might see him in with a domestic opponent of quality.

Quinlan certainly qualifies on that front & I'm sure the promoters who put him in with Hooper would gladly have him back.

Quinlan needs to make sure he takes that fight coming off a couple of wins though, not a kayo loss.

 

Rohan is now promoted by DDP . They have guided Hogan to WBO no 2 154 lbs . I assume they will use the same strategy on Rohan. Rohan has a hard punch but unless the pay is right it would be to avoid the rest.

 

Another big week for Aust boxing next week. Apart from big Star City card on May 24 rising Queensland fighter 140 lbs Chris Brackin 3 - 0 2 ko is heading across the border to take on rugged Nambucca Heads fighter Dan Beverly at Tweed Heads May 26 .Chris is quickly making himself a name as a all action fighter.
Young Papua New Guinean 140 lb Jaydii Kalambe 1 - 0 with fight his second pro fight against Kyle Freiberg 1 - 0 on May 26 at Greenbank Community Centre. The card is headlined by two top prospects.
Nathan Webber is Jeff Horn sparring partner and Joe Goodhall Horn stablemate and am star.

Jack Brubaker is now mandatory contender for the Commonwealth WW title held by Kris George. Kris fights 2016 Olympian Josh Kelly Jun 16.
Tim Tyszu is now looking to step up his competition. Names mentioned Aus 154 lb Champ Samuel Colombian and the winner of the CMW title clash between champ Micheal Zerata and Wade Ryan Jun 1.
Jeff Horn is still fighting fight after 3 way car crash. Regardless of the outcome with Crawford fight Anthony Mundine hopes to fight Horn at Suncorp Stadium before the end of the yr.
