Watched some tremendous sparring yesterday. Red hot Qld prospect Dana Coolwell and world rated Jacob Ng did 6 rounds. Demsey McKean and Justis Huni did 6 each as well. Luke Modini, Casey Caswell, Ben Kelleher all jumped in. Better than half the fights we get.

 

Tszyu vs Horn is on it seems according to channel 7 hopefully no injuries happen the changing of the guard can't come quick enough imo. With Green and Mundine lingering around so long it's been a while since we had new blood for the nation to follow we have Maloney's etc but only true fans know them Tszyu and Horn are both well known for obvious reasons let's hope the undercard showcases Australia's best talent's with no NRL/AFL sideshow fights

 

I reckon Justis Huni would have clocked up many rounds sparring with our southpaw big men - Demsey McKean, Jai Opetaia, Willis Meehan & Jackson Murray.

The top 2 amateur super heavies from Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan are both southpaws so it's very important he gets those rounds in.

The likes of Joe Goodall & David Light have also helped him out with sparring.

If Huni goes on to take gold in Tokyo, they can all take some credit for it.

If Jason Whateley happens to do some sparring with him, I'd be interested in your views on Huni's Olympic medal prospects.
