Not much more to say beyond what I did above. The bell rang, Caparello came out looking to apply pressure & after 30 seconds he landed a punch (can't remember what it was) that sent Broadhurst down. Broadhurst's punch resistance wasn't there & it was obvious from the first knockdown that he was a sitting duck. So the fight was over as a contest after 30 seconds. Broadhurst got up and continued on for another minute before Caparello landed again at which point Broadhurst went down again. The ref thought long & hard about stopping it b/c Broadhurst obviously wasn't right. The ref reluctantly let it continue I think almost solely on the basis that it had barely begun (and out of deference to Broadhurst to give him one last chance to get himself into it). Next clean punch landed by Caparello & he would stop it for sure. That happened soon after, Broadhurst went down & the ref stopped it. Fans still got their money's worth on the night b/c Michael Zerafa v Wade Ryan was a high quality junior middleweight contest that went the distance. I thoroughly enjoyed that one. I scored it 98-92 (8-2) to Zerafa which was harsh on Wade Ryan b/c all rounds were competitive. I scored Tim Tszyu 96-95 over Wade Ryan last year so a fight between Zerafa & Tszyu is something to look forward to. That's if Zerafa doesn't disappear overseas with the Commonwealth belt.
Yeah, he did. Looked like he'd gone up a level (or two) from previous fights. And there was nothing wrong with his progress from previous fights. Tszyu has been travelling all over the country (fights in Queensland, Adelaide, New South Wales & overseas in New Zealand) so being back in his home town of Sydney agreed with him. I'd take Tszyu to beat Zerafa in Sydney. He's good enough to land hard on Zrafa's chin at which point anything could happen. I'd be reluctant to match Tszyu with Zerafa in Melbourne although if they did & he won, it would be a significant achievement for him (particularly if the Commonwealth title was on the line). It would serve notice that Tszyu is on his way to becoming a world class fighter (although still with a long way to go & plenty to learn).
Aust MW Champ David Toussaint next fight is Aug with opponent TBA. David 's promoter Nick Boutzos has made an offer to Anthony Mundine to fight in a all Aussie MW showdown. Nick has said there i an offer to fight in Canberra in front of David's hometown. Dean Lonegran Jeff Horn's promoter has put a line through Mundine name and has said Mundine is just using Horn's name to run away from David because he know's David will knock him out clean. I concur Dean.

Why would mundine fight someone no ones ever heard of in Canberra?. if horn loses v Crawford they will b bashing mundines door down for a multi million dollar pay day. They wanted mundine this fight. Lonegrans a cocky dickhead
The kangaroos will put Horn to rest in his grave after the fight, or what fight? I will not bother to watch a fight against a professional boxer fighting a Kangaroo farmer who knows zero about fighting....................
I think Tszyu's opponent could be TBA as well b/c there's word around that Sam Colomban is out of this fight injured. It's a real shame b/c he's the right opponent at the right time for Junior Tszyu. I wonder if Tim the Toolman would consider challenging Michael Zerafa for the Commonwealth title instead? Or if Zerafa would consider defending it against him? They've both fought recently so should be sharp & ready to go. Let's get it on!
