Very disappointing that McKean never got the fight with Browne as I believe an evenly matched fight at heavyweight will always attract interest. It is a fight I certainly would've watched whether it had been on foxtel or a streaming platform.

 

I reckon that version of Briggs would do alright in today's light heavyweight division he doesn't beat any of the current champs but I reckon fights with him and the likes of Anthony Yarde, Callum Johnson and even Paul Smith Jnr would be very entertaining. I would pick Briggs to blast out all the current Aussie light heavyweights.

 

This would've been a nice career booster for Dempsey had he got this fight and won. I wonder if he'll try fight at commonwealth level now..

I see on social media Billy Dib is calling out Abner Mares for a fight before the end of the year.
I doubt that Dib could even survive 5 rounds with Mares even at this stage in Mares career. I would guess that Dib is just after a pay day and Mares is a realistic fight as he has been inactive and I believe he would see Dib as an easy tune up.

Daniel Geale has revealed that his father died in March during the
outbreak of Coronavirus. He was creamated and full funeral once
restrictions limited. His father introduced Daniel to boxing at age 9.
RIP Wayne Geale.

 

I hope you're right ref opetia v light mate great looking stouch that looks , to tell the truth I see our boxing drought come to an end with an utter deluge once things get back to normal , (whatever the new normal will be ) , up and coming or top tier fighters must be feeling the pinch around the world, this will lead to fast track routes being taken hopefully and less ducking .
