* Michael Zerafa despite firing Sam Labruna as trainer has retained Team Labruna
as his management. Team Ellis confirmed as the new trainer .
* Another loss for Aust Boxing this week. Aust referee Brian McMahon
passed away on Thurs at aged 79. Brian was a former NSW LW Champ
in 1960 and trainer during the 70's and promoter in the 80's. Brian refereed
from 1974 to 2012 and was third man involving some of Aust best boxers.
Including Tszyu , Mundine , Troy Waters , Shannon Taylor , Justin Rowsell,
Daniel Geale , Briggs, Jeff Harding and the list goes on and on.
RIP Brian McMahon.

Mike Tyson has been offered $ 1 Million US to face Sonny Bill Williams in
exhibition fight in Melb. The card would also have Tayla Harris fighting for
a world title .Tyson came to Aust in 2012 so visa shouldn't be a problem.

 

He will be 60 before he will be able to enter the country

 

ABA has made a landmark decision . Meaning Justis Huni can turn pro and also
fight at Tokyo. Huni hopes to make pro debut Aug.

Justis should fight Mike Tyson for his pro debut.

 

Parker v Browne is being talked about for August. I got Parker by KO within three rounds assuming Browne doesn't pull out.

 

These Aussie journo's are so pathetic just talking absolute rubbish. As if Mike Tyson is going to come to Australia to have a fight with a footy player for $1mill just ridiculous articles. They are getting worse during this lock down with no sports to report on.

 

Time machine fantasy fight for me would be Tyson v SBW or any other of these publicity hungry ' look at me ' plastic boxer w ankers probably around (just before Mike fought Trevor Berbick ) Now I'd pay 5000 quid to watch that and die an appy taffy .

 

Mate you know I'm a fan of Big Lew but why is lockdown parker wasting his time man ? Its like the sport is going backwards faster than an Italian tank .

 

I think Parker is just happy picking up a few easy pay days seeing he has already made big money fighting AJ and Whyte. I wouldn't be surprised if he continues this trend until he is offered another big pay day.

 

I can understand the money aspect from Big Lucas's point of view but Sonny should be concentrating on keeping his top tier ranking alive which won't be the case if he starts along the easy fight PPV road Prow .

 

Parker's in a bit of no man's land territory atm. He just needs to keep winning I guess and hopefully a big fight pops up for him. Having said that, pulling out of the Chisora fight did him no favours.

For the HWs I'd like to see a tournament of sorts With Parker, Browne McKean and Fa involved where the winners face off and the losers face off too. Won't happen of course because of 'business decisions' but in these times, it would be a good idea. Ahio can be put on standby or even fight someone like Faiga Opelu in the meantime.
